TCBG and I will be there. We're doing the games (Thursday, Saturday), Pearl Jam (Monday), Magic Kingdom (Tuesday), Universal (Thursday), fly home Friday.

Good morning, Lodgers. :) So happy that the weather is reasonable (temp) outside. Looking forward to a Troegs beer dinner Wednesday night with some good friends. 5 courses paired with 5 beers. We're spending the night at the Inn this time so we can enjoy ourselves.

Think I will spend the afternoon reading with hot chocolate.

Good Morning Everyone!

Trying to get the hang of this retirement thing. Sort of a new runner figuring out how to pace themselves in a race. I usually have one gear which is full throttle then crash at night. Now I get a few things done and then fritter the time away. I do have things I have to do that aren't getting done.

Going to St Croix -> St Thomas -> home in April. Trying to figure out how to do that. Waffling- do I try to book things on my own, call AAA or the travel agency we have used in the past. I know I have all the time to figure stuff out but I hate not knowing if all the ins and outs of the best way to do it before I start. I also don't want to spend a lot of $$. When I was working I would just abdicate responsibility and not care about the cost. Have to change the mindset. Feeling lazy

NaSK and I booked our flights last week. We're getting in Thursday morning. Debating if we should do Universal Friday or Sunday...definitely fitting it in though. Fly back to Detroit on Monday.

Good Morning Lodge.

Doubt we'll be in Tampa - don't really want to drag a gimp on crutches around with us. He'll be in a boot by then but still non-load bearing. He also wants to avoid absences as his school has a "skip a final" program. If his grades are good and he has fewer than 3 unexcused absences this semester, he can skip his finals. Of course, we could arrange a campus visit to U of S. Florida and get it excused.;)

Where is Corporate LwB?

Mrs. GE and I are not going to Tampa. Will be in Palm Springs next week and given the other expenses and requirements on our vacation time the FF didn't make the cut.

Is it Friday, yet?

We're heading down on the Wednesday, then going on a cruise after. Almost a two week vacation. Should be nice.

It's warm out. So warm, that the snow, rain/snow mix we got last night is now all slush. Made for a difficult walk to the T station and every truck and bus that drove by me went through large puddles and I feel like I have a layer of grime on me and my left pant leg is soaked. And yes, it's Tuesday. 'Nuff said.

I will not be going to Tampa. The g family will be in Fort Meyers and Orlando a couple weeks prior to that. We will be there for 8 days.

They can win by not being distracted by fans in the stands wearing provocative Speedos. Beavers are drawn to wood.

We are going to watch the 2016 World Series champs Minnesota Twins play a couple spring training games. Then we will head to Orlando to check out all the tourist type stuff.

Made it through the work day with a head cold and 2 hours sleep, maybe. I was fully convinced by about 3:30 AM that I would be up all night last night.

Nachos for dinner, and then Nyquil a short time later. Taking no chances, and reaching for the Good Night Juice tonight.

Put on the Birch Fireplace video on Netflix and read for a few hours this afternoon with grey weather and rain outside to set the mood. It was so nice! Now watching last night's airing of the Westminster Dog Show.

Pipe burst at the Inn where we're supposed to go and enjoy the beer dinner and spend the night. Pretty bummed. I was really looking forward to spending the night out. Inn is closed until further notice.
