I had one review in 12.5 yrs. Not surprising. I don't like reviews and my ex-boss is not good at giving them or at management in general. Suited us both.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

1 day in town and I've already got our short term apartment lined up.

Next up, starting my job.

Good evening Lodge.

Valentine's dinner has been served. Grilled T bones, twice baked potatoes and a salad. Cheese cake for dessert.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

Broiled a couple steaks for dinner for my wife and mother-in-law.
Now watching The King's Speech....love this movie.

Had my review last week, went very well. Especially considering some the stories I've heard from co-workers.

Went to see Deadpool and now hubs is making potato hash and we'll be broiling marinated steak tips shortly. Oh, and we're having peas since we need something green. Annual physical did not go well, so I'm living it up this weekend before I need to start really hankering down. (Of course, this is the week in which we have reservations for a 5 course beer dinner with some close hockey friends.)

Us, too. My baby weight came off, but there's a whole lot more there that could go away. The hubster is getting rounder, as well. He had lost quite a bit at the last job due to a more active environment and not always getting to eat. He's more sedentary now, so it's all coming back. So, we're going to try to keep each other accountable and get this going.

Our dinner was pan fried salmon, cheese ravioli, and wilted spinach with a garlic lemon butter sauce. Looked fancier than what it entailed; really easy to make. Which was nice as we just got back from Columbus this afternoon. Got to finally see my hockey team play live. They gave me a sweep, how nice of them. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #182: Snow!

Good Morning Lodge.

So Jr broke his fibula last night playing in his low-key, non-checking, recreational hockey league. He lost an edge and slid into the boards with his right foot at an awkward angle. Non-displaced, spiral crack low, so more of a broken ankle than broken leg. Still means a month in a cast and another in a boot, and Mrs and I being chauffeurs for a couple months (his right leg, of course so he can't drive). So glad that 1) Twin City Orthopedics, who did may ankle, has urgent care walk-in from 8-8 and 2) it was an early enough game that we got him there in time and 3) this was the one game he had that we went to so we could get him the car and right to the urgent care.
