Was 60 and sunny this afternoon. Supposed to be about 70 this weekend. Ya, this is working out well! :D

So is Day 2 of a new job the day you're supposed to think you're in over your head? :p

It's been 5 years since I made a change, so I don't remember what Day 2 at my old employer was like.

It's amazing being part of an organization that really seems to have its sh*t together when it comes to documentation, templates, and collective knowledge of the tool and what we're doing. However, I can't help but feel overwhelmed about everything I don't know (yet).

Sadly not at this time. I feel badly for the Inn -- the people who run it are a fun couple and have done a great job organizing these dinners. The couple with whom we attend these dinners got married at the Inn in October, so I'm sure this hits home for them as well. Probably just stay home and relax -- looked into doing dinner/overnight at a few other local places, but they're more expensive and we were so looking for ward to the menu that we haven't found anything as interesting elsewhere on a Wednesday night.

Fade -- It took over a year to feel comfortable at my last place and I expect the same at the new one (if not longer). Not sure if your field is similar, but there is a lot of nuance when changing jobs that is easy to overlook.

HHT although I don't know if it deserves a table for AIC. Thank goodness for the Board. Radiostation went out with 50 seconds to go in the game after sounding like gbbledygook for part of it. I hate this radio station. :mad:

Also, it's become a sort of running joke on GPL on who my "next 'other' team" is. ;)

And today's weather was awesome for this time of year. If the B1G tailgate is anything close to this...I will be a happy camper.

We will be in Tampa. Booked it months ago. Leaving Sunday, flying into Miami, doing the Keys for 3 days, getting into Tampa Wednesday night. Flying back out of Miami later on Sunday.

Working the Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving championships on Thursday. Going to be a long day that day.
