Good Morning Lodge. *HT, but it wasn't as ugly as I feared. Kept it close with a good team. Wild on the other hand....

Got to go hang Xmas lights and put a few more things away. Jr is off to hang with friends after his coaching stint so Mrs and I may go see a movie.

Cold rainy and no motivation. Sadly I am supposed to be motivated. Off to make turkey stock.

In anticipation of our first predicted snowmagedden of the year I got my snowblower started this afternoon. Once 'lil Red starts the first time in a season it will start on one or two pulls the rest of the year but the first time is always a beech.

Of course, this means no snow Monday-Tuesday.....

No hockey tonight, this feels weird for me. I played (badly) this morning and then the Gophers seemed to have need of playing Bucky at 2:30 instead of the usual 11:30 for the football, for some reason, which caused them to toss the Gopher/Husky hockey game to Sunday instead of tonight.

Well, I suppose you can't win this game every time. *sigh*

I have to get up wicked early tomorrow to catch my train home so I'll be at a virtual *HT.

Morning, Lodgers. In the middle of a 4 night stretch at work (this is the last 1/3 of night 3). Looking for something to excite me for when I'm off, but not much that makes me feel excited. Birthday on Tuesday, but not really feeling it this year.

Good morning Lodge. Made it to Penn Station way early so I decided to go to a diner for a regular breakfast. Should have time to sit and relax and eat and still run back for my train.

Chilly here in NYC. Expecting the same when I get back to Boston.

At least on a train you can go to the quiet car and avoid the crying babies. :)

:( You need to hang out with a little kid. They find joy and wonder in everything. Off to church a little later this AM with lil. I have inherited 2 kids 6, 7 who sit with me. It reminds me of the wonder of the world and the joy of having it in small, exhausting doses.

Only if you buy a ticket for it. Which I did not. And the train is stopped due to mechanical issues. Greeeeeaaat. Busiest travel day of the year and I have to get on the one train they obviously didn't check. Was really looking forward to getting home around noon. I have food shopping to do and wanted to do some cooking. I bet I won't get home before 3. For that amount of a commute time I could have spent way less and taken a bus.
