My commute time was the same as always: about 10 minutes.

Ugh, sitting here at work. Was JUST about out the door when GoodBoss calls, and says they need more shipping cartons. Waiting for our shuttle driver to come back. *sigh* Normally we can't use the internets for personal use, but hey, I'm punched out.

From what lil says and what I am reading, it was ugly.
 
At Mariucci with Jr to watch the fake huskies smoke the Gophs. This will be ugly. Squirts Jr coaches had a tourney game today. They had a skater in net and 8 skaters. Figured that would be ugly too, they won 5-0. Opponents had a full squad, but they were bad.

My COS friends are safe, thank goodness. One was in the direct neighborhood of the incident. She was on lockdown.

HHT. Would like to see a better second period going forward, but that's been the Achilles heel of SCSU ever since Motzko has been the coach.

Done hunting for the year.

Saturday, had a shot at a huge buck. Missed. He was running across the field but I still should have hit him. Found out after the drive that my slugs were hitting the trees above some other guys in our party, they could hear them above them. It shouldn't have been possible, because I was shooting into a hill. So I shot at a target quick, and I was shooting something like 15 feet high at 50 yards. I looked at my scope and saw that my cantilever mount was bent so that the back of the mount was about a quarter inch higher than it should have been. No wonder I missed! I was nowhere close! I think I must have jammed my scope on the previous drive, because I did trip on an old fence and fall on my face.

After I got my scope mount fixed, and bore sighted again, the next day I shot 2 does. Amazing how that works. Now I'm just ****ed that I missed the big buck because of something so stupid. He was a 10 pointer that would likely be headed for my wall.

Mr and I are probably going to the Admirals game tonight. Haven't been there in awhile and both of us like minor league puck.

Good morning Lodge. Was woken up by some neighbor, sounds like he was moving. On a Saturday. Of a holiday weekend. At 8am. Realized I don't live here so getting up to go yell at this person would probably not be a good idea. Maybe tomorrow when I have to leave here by 6:30 I'll just be extra loud. 😛

Off to go find a diner for breakfast. Think I can find one here? It'll be a challenge I'm sure.

Morning, Lodge. Waiting for Comcast to come out and upgrade all my hardware, etc, and then will probably head to church to watch the MN-BADger game.
