I didn't sit at the *HT last night, so I don't get the HHT tonight, either. Fair is fair.

1 goal. For the season. 3 games. And we're the friggin' GOPHERS.

At least Hell keeps the temps up, which I am a fan of.

If it makes you feel better UAA has scored 15 in 4. I mean they've given up 13 but...

That makes it worse. I'm just thankful I don't live near any high bridges at this point. ;)

Over the past 12 months, my company has been neck deep in a project to change our trust account accounting and processing systems, this project is expected to last until 2020. As a result, we've been bringing in contractors left and right. Over the summer we've has a lot of Indians start here, and over the past few weeks we've had a lot of Indians show up to the office wearing ski jackets, hats and gloves. These folks are in for a very rude awakening in a little less than three months from now if this is how they're reacting to high temps in the 50s and 60s with low temps in the upper 30s. It's one of those things where you'd really think they'd take the time of investigating the climate of the place to where they're emigrating, see MN's average temps by month and just skip on down the road to California or Texas.

when former bu president john silber was running for MA gov back in the early 90s he brought up a question why lowell, ma held the largest concentration of Lao people anywhere in the world outside of the border of Laos.
mookie has been in both. the climate is NOTHING alike :D

HHT. But so many injuries so early in the season. Playing the 3rd string walk-on goalie. Seven players out with injury/illness. Yikes.

I was waiting for something to happen to Hrynkiw. From what TH was saying, he came up big a few times in the 3rd, which was nice.

Good morning Lodge. Out to breakfast to fortify myself before I head out to the Head of the Charles. It's supposed to be colder today than yesterday. Hopefully not as windy.

And I did wake up at the HHT. Glad they won and they indeed were the better team, I just felt they weren't very sharp. But, a win is a win is a win. Yay!

Morning.

If that's the requisite knowledge then I have no interest in having the card. NFL puts me to sleep. Still haven't seen a single play this season.
THe only NFL I have seen is out of the corner of my eye while reading my book. Mr watches. I could give a rat's a55. I come from Patriots country where people are either hating on them or are self righteous about them.

To me Ftb is a game with X(no idea how many) # players on the field wearing large quantities of padding and a helmet. They squat down, yell something or make a prancing motion with their foot then run into each other. At the end of the play they fall down, get up with a huge rush of testosterone and either pat each other on the but or get in each other's faces with exaggerated body language. They do this while making enough money to feed several poor third world villages. Meh.

Football is physical chess, IMO. You have 11 guys, and have to move those pieces in such a way that you outsmart the opposing 11 guys.

And as far as difficulty? On defense, you have to tackle a 220lb+ guy that doesn't really want to be tackled. Relate that to a "real life" situation. ;)

Go walk in a mall and see another dude coming at you on your line....who moves their path to keep from creating a standstill or bump :p
