Good Morning, Lodge!

Heading to St, Clooud today for the annual family bonfire. As long as I don't have to talk that much to the MIL, her best friend, and her best friend's satan of a kid, I should be fine.

I stopped caring at work but I'm a fed so there's no real recourse. I walk around in socks. But yeah.. Try getting away with wearing moccasins.

Good morning Lodge.

24° when we woke up this morning.

French toast, bacon, fruit, juice and coffee via French press have been served for breakfast.

The kids crossed the river yesterday. One way is across some rocks and the other way is right through it. They did both. Temp was barely into the 40's and I'm sure the water temp wasn't a whole lot warmer.

Chili is simmering and will be available all day to eat.

Temperature has already climbed into the 40's. T shirt weather!

Yo. Crappy weekend overall. Due to...things...I may have spoke too soon about RV2. Things went sideways, and I hope they straighten out, but right now, it's unlikely.

Just looking forward to OC and football tomorrow, to re-gain some sense of normalcy/routine.

My old man took a picture at our hunting camp with measurable snowfall this am. NBC Nightly News contacted him, and it's supposed to be shown in 20 minutes. Pretty neat, and a great reminder why I moved to Florida. Too early for that stuff.

Watching three dogs by yourself makes a weekend go slow, which is nice. It is also about all that is nice, but I'll take it.
