I have to laugh on Sunday's during this football season. If you see the Google main page, all I can think about is gmann and the little g's. It is cute and funny.

It's kind of amazing how things happen. The guys upstairs were loud again last night. I've been hoping to see my next door neighbors for a while to see if they're just as annoyed but they were never home when I knocked. If I'm hearing those guys, I'm sure they are even more so, loving directly below them. This morning I took out my trash and recycling and instead of going back into the building thru the side entrance, I walked to the front door, and who was in the lobby but my neighbor. She proceeds to tell me her husband, who is in a wheelchair and has had a rough year is now dying. I am so sad about it, but before I could even say anything, she asks me about the guys upstairs, I told her everything I've done to date. I'm so glad I had a chance to see her and I'm so sad to hear about her husband. Not sure what made me walk in the building that way this morning. She seemed relieved that I was also hearing them and maybe with the two of us complaining something will be done.

Morning, Lodge.

Standard Sunday for me: church, then settle into my buttgroove on the couch, watching the Vikings. For ONCE I'm happy I'm forced to watch the Broncos for the afternoon network game. ;)

BwaHAHAHA! Mr just read an article in the paper about the approval for a Marijuana resort in So. Dakota. He is off on a monologue that could be on the Late Night show. Comments about how they don't have to worry about changing the logo for the Fighting Whoiux- they can have a baggie and a roach clip on their jerseys or maybe a bag of potato chips. They wouldn't be 'fighting' anymore but eating would be OK. and on and on. I am in hysterics.

Double posted. I can't stop laughing.

Finished the angel food cake part of the Heaven and Hell cake. Devil's food part in the oven. Then peanut butter cream between all the layers (split each cake into 2 rounds). Freeze, then cover in chocolate. Goal is to get to the "put the cake in the freezer" part before heading out to the hockey game. Then home to make dinner and to put ganache on the cake. Hubs is working until probably about 8...

Sure! I halved the recipe so I have a four inch cake instead of a 10 inch cake, but there should be plenty to share. I still have 8 mini peanut butter no-bake cheesecakes from last night - those are going with me to work though for dessert night on Tuesday night.

ETA - had to slice the top of the angel food cake off to make it flat for layering. Just sampled...it's...not particularly bad.

Yum!

And even if I didn't eat dinner there I did OK. Went to the Beerworks in Lowell. To die for butternut squash ravioli with roasted vegetables in cream, brownbutter and sage sauce. Oh. My. Goodness. it was good.

Oh, I forgot. HHT. The New Brunswick team is the real deal. Fun to watch. More fun because we won.
