We get the real stuff too. Its **** expensive, but it is really **** good too.

The authentic stuff is good. I have like 10 pounds of it and I can get as much of it as I want. 10 pounds will make just a bit of soup or casserole. ;) The thing with wild rice is that if it's stored correctly it will not spoil. Ever.

I didn't follow one directly. I was going to follow my mom's recipe for it, but she told me that she never follows it, so just wing it. :p

Basically, this is it: (from memory)

RECIPE
Thanks! I have been making chicken noodle the past few winters and the noodle gets mushy and gross - this sounds like a promising alternative.
I made a big batch of wild rice casserole.

Wild rice (real wild rice that was harvested from a lake in Minnesota by a friend and not the crap bought at a store) hamburger, bacon, onions, green pepper, celery, mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup.
That sounds pretty good too!

Thanks, guys.

First night off orientation. Haven't killed anyone yet, but the night is young! :)

Forgot my Kindle tonight - definitely miss it. Of course, my patients aren't cooperating and staying asleep. They're really best tubed and sedated...:o

Noodles look for consistency -- if too mushy just need for flour :D

S'upp *****es :p

Brought peppers back from PA that Mookie's uncle grew (jalepano habanero & ghost). Moron kid took a ghost to school and one kid who was chopping it up rubbed his eye while another put some seeds in with another's goldfish. So 1 blind kid and 1 with sore lips and tongue is getting my moron in trouble. May be a breakfast club detention. Girl is going in to see middle school CIS. It was suggested she play the race card and inform the admins that Asian eat them like Popsicles, so what's the big deal?
The kid woulda been better off rolling a j

Good evening Lodge.

A couple weeks ago I was presented an opportunity for a promotion. It would entail a relocation (south of cityslickerville) but it would be a big time bump up. Decisions, decisions decisions.

Depends on how far south. ;)

That's a big move, either way.

Work has been really busy, and I had a sorta bombshell drop (in a good way) this past weekend. Extras, some family, and a couple very close friends know, am kind of waiting to tell the masses. Maybe in a couple days. Still sorting some things out.

South like Eagan? South like Rochester? Or, south like Little Rock? ;)
