Yes, I'm out of retirement...for one post...

I'd just like to confirm that yes, MNS is actually gainfully employed, and he recently dispatched one of my flights. I won't comment on his dispatching skills (he doesn't know what to do as usual) but he hasn't killed me...yet.

Yays. Get to go into work early at least 2 days this week to re-certify my HAZMAT license. Usually takes about 2 hours to do (3 different tutorials/tests).

And sooooo looking forward to Derby Day.

Crazy thunder and lightning right now. Hope Brandi Chastain's flight doesn't get delayed. She's due to land at 12:30am. Hope this passes before she has to land.

One of my packages showed up. UPS said it was delivered at 2pm. My co-worker, who it shipped to, checked when she got back after the show, the hotel said it wasn't there. After dinner I came back to her hotel to show them the UPS tracking that shows it was there. That's when the rain started. And then I get a text from Julie Foudy saying that she missed her connecting flight. Been a crazy hour. Kinda stuck here at this hotel till the storm subsides.

There was a clip on the news here showing a train on an elevated railway getting blown over. They said that it was just empty cars, but pretty nasty shibby there.

Call and ask for the name of who signed for the package or if it was a driver release. The info is available and they should tell you.

Oh, they found it. Thank God. One less thing to worry about. And Brandi landed. So that's good too.

So, she got to her hotel around 1am and we had been texting en route and I told her that her hotel was across the street from the Harrahs casino. So I met her there. And won $200!!! Then I overslept. Met her for breakfast and saw UPS called. They found my box!!!!! Not a bad Tuesday for a Tuesday!
