Got some friends working on ships/boats in the New Orleans area that said there were possible tornadoes in the area earlier, but very strong storms for sure. Hope nothing affecting you, Scarlet.

The airport lost all power. Screwed up their fuel farm.

Yes, I'm out of retirement...for one post...

I'd just like to confirm that yes, MNS is actually gainfully employed, and he recently dispatched one of my flights. I won't comment on his dispatching skills (he doesn't know what to do as usual) but he hasn't killed me...yet.

Yep. All of our operations are dispatched out of Indianapolis. Denver and Newark (United Express), O'Hare and Miami (American Eagle), Charlotte, Reagan, and Philadelphia (US Airways Express), Laughlin, Tunica, and Atlantic City (Ceasar's Entertainment charters).

So, she got to her hotel around 1am and we had been texting en route and I told her that her hotel was across the street from the Harrahs casino. So I met her there. And won $200!!! Then I overslept. Met her for breakfast and saw UPS called. They found my box!!!!! Not a bad Tuesday for a Tuesday!

Actually really like musicals, so hoping to maybe even enjoy it a bit.

The box is in Kansas City. Apparently the shipping label fell off so it went to Lost and Found. It's being shipped back to me in Boston.

And Mamma Mia is a great show live. I've seen it four times. But I'm a huge ABBA fan.

Conference over for the day. My lower back and feet are killing me. Resting up for an hour and charging my phones and then it's off to our customer/broker event. Today was even busier than yesterday. People were such a pain at the end. Brandi was only supposed to be there till 4, and the car service was picking her up. I cut the line at 3:45 so we could get thru everyone that had been waiting. She was finishing up some last minute autographs and people kept coming up. I almost yelled at one guy "She's done, she has to leave" "Can't she sign three pictures right now?" "no" "Ok, then just one for my daughter." What part of she has to leave do you not get?? And she is such a good sport and was willing to do it but I had to say no because they would keep coming and she'd miss her flight.

Going to try and check in for my flight on my phone now. Or maybe the biz center.

Tons of women groups, dudes with dates and for some reason, college coeds dressed in formal cocktail attire.

mookie loves tom jones and went to see him a couple years ago. a group of five broads were sitting to his right and stood up with a long rope with hanging undies. the rope was too long and they asked mookie to stand with them and hold the end.

he did (of course).

In St. Lucia, we had no windows (open air rooms) and there seemed to be a mourning dove in every tree.

The racket they made was ridiculous considering they aren't a particularly loud bird by themselves. Get a bunch of them in unison though...


I just got used to getting up at 5:00 every day.
