Ugh. Sister texted me to let me know her and my Mom had to make the decision to put down our family Labradoodle. Would have been 13 next week. I knew from spending time up there that he was certainly on his way down the hill, but I didn't expect it this soon. Really, the first time I've had to deal with this, as I was a little too young to really understand it when we had our yellow lab put down when I was quite a bit younger.

Quite the buzzkill for me tonight.

Or go to Bourbon St and pound down some Hurricanes.

So yes, they can't really investigate until Monday. Everything is closed on Sunday.

I can try to help a bit. Does the tracking tell you where it's at? If it's in Louisiana then there's a good chance it'll be delivered on Monday. If it's something like Louisville (or Grade Lane) you're boned.

Either way, get a refund as it should've been there on Friday if you shipped 3 day select. If you shipped Ground then you're kinda boned.

Bummer man.

Actually was talking to my brother tonight about getting another dog. He has mentioned that he wants another Jack Russell after our old Jack died about a month ago. Heard though the grapevine about a lady who is expecting a litter of jack pups in a month or so. thinking awfully hard about looking into that a little more.

Good Morning Lodge. Sitting in my car in a field on bb_dl's family farm. Jr is in the woods hoping to call a turkey within range. A little too cold for me out there. Jr has more camo clothes than me and it's 36 right now. Plus I messed up my back too much las Sunday sitting in the blind.

Sorry about your dog hp.

Bbdl sang on stage again. Johnny Holm actually greeted us as we were walking to the bar.
Crazy old lady dragged bbdl, me, dx, and Armadillo out to dance. Tried to kiss Dillo.
Super crazy semi-cute girl talked to me, prayed over me (yeah; not sh*ing you) until I finally got out of THAT jam.
Those are just some hghlights.

Good morning Lodge.

Saw an old friend in town yesterday. Went to a local watering hole around 4 pm for "just one" beverage to catch up. Ended up going to Hairball. Stumbled home about 3 am. Good times but my head hurts and I was cooking breakfast at 6:30 this morning. :)

Yes they are. Especially if you like 80's hair bands.

The only real issue with the show???????? I'm not much of a drinker and with that I'm not a huge fan of beer. The only options for liquor was MGD, Lite, Bud Light and Coors Light. I chose Coors Light (like 9 or 10 of them) plus I had a few mixed drinks prior to the show. Shiat beer plus mixing = headache.

I can't believe Johnny Holm is still playing. If memory serves correct I believe I saw them play while I was in college like 1990 or so.

Yeah, he's still going strong. His daughter does quite a bit of singing, too. Sidenote: she's a smokeshow. Yowza.

The tracking said it's "In Transit" and the last location was Chelmsford MA on the 21st, which is the day I shipped.

Eeep, that's bad. Best case scenario is the tracking label got worn off and they shipped it as an overgoods shipment to you and it's there by Monday. Worst case is it's just sitting in Chelmsford because the people there are *ing stupid. Either way I'd love to travel back east and smash a few people around. Sorry it's such a pain in the *. :(

I would, except these were already pre-signed by Brandi Chastain and were set to also have Julie Foudy sign them tomorrow. And then they were going to be used as prizes. I have 6 blank ones here. They're each going to sign three since they won't be here at the same time. I also shipped 300 of our new Olympic pins that cost us about $3 each that we were going to distribute at the booth. The second shipment came from a vendor - those were shirts that some of the booth personnel are supposed to wear. I'm hoping that shipment arrives at some point tomorrow.

I tweeted to UPS, asked them if they were having issues. Usually they post that weather is affecting some deliveries. They didn't do that. It just seems weird that two separate shipments to the same conference had issues. UPS tweeted back and asked that I email them. I can't do anything about it obviously but they are our largest client and the team leader for the account is here and she is going to meet with them while here. I asked her if I could complain to them. We're featuring them as a client success story in our booth. How ironic.

My main concern now is that if they find the box that it gets shipped back to me in Boston and not here to New Orleans as I will be heading home on Wednesday.
