Howdy Lodge. It's Friday. Yay. I head to New Orleans tomorrow for a work conference so I'm trying to get a bunch of stuff done today so I don't have to do too much while on the road. I have a bit of a headache, though.

Congrats on the house SOH! I kinda have the best of both worlds. I didn't want a house because I don't do yardwork and don't want to do yardwork, etc. But I don't rent, so I'm building equity. I may think of going the townhouse route down the road, but right now I'm staying where I'm staying. Starting in August, I'm going to be on the road quite a bit and it will be better for me to be in the type of place I'm in.

With my work schedule, my townhouse is likewise the best situation for me. Cheap, enough space to keep up, but also room to have people over/visit.

In ATL. We got in 40 minutes early. From Detroit.

Recovery day today, game 5 tomorrow.

I'm actually kind of impressed that I can still think about drinking. It's been a pretty wild past 8 days, what with 4 baseball games and 4 hockey games and a round trip to Detroit.

I stumbled around Detroit a good bit the past few days, and lived to tell about it. I consider that alone a success!

Guys weekend has commenced! Hanging out with Beau tonight, and the crew is all coming over tomorrow night. Should be a good weekend.

A Sam Adams commercial was just on TV...One guy in the commercial was one of the guys we got a tour from at the brewery.

Good evening Lodge.

I mow 3 acres and I plow a nearly 400' driveway. I don't mind it one bit.

Big hockey game tonight. Might have to break out the good stuff and have a tasty beverage.

Can someone explain what the first two choices in the poll refer to? That is "amp" and "between the 9s".

So do any of you guys watch Shark Tank? Apparently tonight Mr. Wonderful mentioned my post work drinking establishment and highlighted the upstairs bar in particular. There were two guys who had an app that allowed you to reserve seats at bars or something. And Mr. Wonderful (is that really how he refers to himself??) was talking about the best bar he's been going to is going there on a Sunday afternoon to watch the Patriots but you can't reserve a seat. My friend who I used to go there weekly with texts me about the show and said she told her husband how funny it was that a billionaire who's been going there for 20 years can't get a reserved seat at the upstairs bar but that I could. Heh.
