Good morning Lodge and Happy Monday. Took today off as well. I was supposed to go to NYC yesterday to go to the Bruins/Rangers game but cancelled because of this storm we were supposed to get. Once I booked my last minute trip to Dallas for Tuesday, I was very worried I would get stuck there given that they were saying we were going to get 6+" of snow and it would be happening when I would be heading home. Grrrrr! Not one flake here. I'm glad I took the day off regardless because I was up late last night watching the Oscars. And I have to pack. I still have some work to deal with today as well but the fact that I didn't have to wake up and commute in a snow storm - that's an OK tradeoff.

Supposedly health insurance issues. But- she knew the situation going in, is single and unless she had an MI over the weekend no known health issues that would make this a problem. No mention of any problem before poof it is an issue??

How can a health provider not offer one of its perks being --- health insurance? :p

We have people that qualify for state asst that work part time. If we offer insurance they would no longer qualify. Until Health insurance isn't for profit we either screw our long time workers or make it difficult to hire new ones. :mad:

Good morning Lodge.

It's ISO audit day for me. *fake smile* Actually, audit day is nice, I get to avoid floor issues most of the day, and I get a free lunch. The only problem is if there are any issues, I'm the one held responsible. Horray for actual management not wanting to do ISO, and thus I get to be "management" for purposes of ISO audits.

I really should have gone grocery shopping last night. Cupboards were looking a bit bare this morning.

So I went in for my weekly check up at the fatperson place, and I ran into this woman on the way out who was whining about having to drop four pounds by month end. Whining about being four pounds off target is just, I don't know, sad. If I stall out four pounds away from target, I'm calling it a good win. Of all the things to be upset by, four pounds. She mentioned about cheating on the diet over the past week, and now she's all distraught about not meeting her goal? That girl's logic chip has a bug or two in it.

Also, I could go for a nap.

board appears to have decided that adding in the module to keep out the robo-spammers is not worth it. They'd rather see their end product defaced and subsequently lose site traffic instead.

One problem: Lost most of the phone numbers I had. :( Anyone who thinks I had their number, or doesn't care if I have their number, etc feel free to email me with your number. For those on FB that I am friends with, I'll be making the same request in a few moments.

Same number and all that jazz. Kudos to the TMobile kiosk, too. I said I needed a new phone, that was it. Guy said flat out: "our phones cost twice as much here. Walk over to the Best Buy mobile store (about 20 feet away) and buy a phone there. As long as the SIM card is okay, you're good. Just make sure it's a TMobile phone." Not great for his business, but great customer service there. :)
