It amazes me that KMart is still around. You get horrible experiences at all of their locations.

I may drag my dad instead, though I saw him this morning and he looks like he doesn't want to go either. I may go myself for a few innings. Thankfully our seats are covered so if it does rain, I won't get soaked.

Good evening Lodge.

Spent a good chunk of the weekend at work ( proabaly put in 25 hours or so since Saturday). The switch to almost all of the new software was flipped yesterday and so far everything has went according to plan.

That blows about working, but good on the smooth switch. Having trained some other locations on operation switches (when we went paperless), it can get rough at times.

Made today a Pile Day. Watched a couple movies, lazed about. Ready to go back into the fray tomorrow.

Evening all. Back from being up north at the family cabin. Managed to not wreck it at all out on the quad trails. Did wish I could have stayed up there another day or so up there instead of having to fight the crowd back down I-75 to get home. 127 was already pretty backed up looking at the overpass and I thought I would try my luck with 75. Dad took 127 down and it was pretty much a rolling parking lot as well. I could have stayed there as I don't work again til Wednesday, but nobody else there to do anything with.

I can't believe I'm defending Minnesota here, but...

Estimated Sunday, Sept. 1 Attendance

NYS Fair: 86,168 - and down from last year (http://www.syracuse.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2013/09/nys_fair_day_11_recap_sunday.html)
MN State Fair: 236,197 - an increase (http://www.startribune.com/local/222074111.html)

Good troll though.

We drew 94K on this last Tue, when the heat index was over 100. And it was just about considered an embarrassment for attendance. Yup.

Last MN State Fair fireworks for the year just started. Used to be able to glimpse them from our house but the trees have grown too much. Love the fair but happy when it's over, really screws up traffic in the area.

That is why I love the free busses. I remember when they weren't around. Total hell for traffic.

Since I'm a couple blocks off Snelling it's total hell. ;) My wife's parents live just off Como between Snelling & Hamline...I always have a place to park :D but it stinks when we need to head over there.

I hear ya. Let's put it this way...when you can convince bbdl to take a lowly poor person's bus....that says something. :D
