Yawn indeed. Was going to stay up and watch a VOD of the new Breaking Bad via chat with a friend who has no cable (and has to purchase via Amazon), but no go. We think they go by Pacific time for that service.

I'm physically tired, but mentally "Another 2-3 hours of consciousness is okay."

I hit up the Vali-Hi drive-in tonight with the same friends who were on the boat with me yesterday. The movies were Planes, Grownups 2, and We're the Millers, in that order. We only made it through two of the movies because of kids. Grownups was decent, but far from great. I'm told th a Planes was basically Cars, except in the air.

Good morning Lodge. Gloomy day here. I have Red Sox tickets for this afternoon. Hope they get most of the game in. No mood to sit thru a rain delay. I was supposed to take my niece. She had her 4 wisdom teeth out on Thursday and she is still in pain and miserable. When she got home from the oral surgeon Thursday her she had an allergic reaction to something, Her lips swelled and her throat closed and they had to take her by ambulance to the hospital. Needless to say, she isn't coming to the game.

Given that it's move in weekend, I want to take the T and that is no place to be when you aren't feeling well. I may drag my dad instead, though I saw him this morning and he looks like he doesn't want to go either. I may go myself for a few innings. Thankfully our seats are covered so if it does rain, I won't get soaked.

Hope for a rain shower; that would help with the crowds. Otherwise, I'd expect a good showing today.

Yeah, both of them (and one other GPLer, I forget who) are going to Oktoberfest this year, with a sidetrip to the Vikes game.

First food - poutine. Not bad. Pretty crowded already. Any folks wearing usual SF attire and freezing their tooshes. Quite cool today.

Scarlet, hope your niece gets back on the mend. Wisdoms are no fun, however, just saying' I had mine pulled on a Wednesday, I believe, and went down to the Yankees/Red Sox season finale games 2 days later a couple years ago. She should toughen up ;). (Kidding, I didn't have any bad reactions, and overall it was a pretty uneventful experience.)
