Been to one before, saw "Unstoppable" and some forgettable heist flick. You wouldn't want to watch a big fancy special effects type of movie, but it can be a fun experience. Mine would have been even more fun if I had bench seats in the front. ;)

You should go to the Vali-Hi in Lake Elmo, right there on 94 & Radio Dr. Pack a cooler, a portable grill, and a football or frisbee. Buy a popcorn. Three movies (if you can last that long) for $8.50, it's tough to match that deal.

I did go to a midnight showing before it became all the rage. Some weird unrated/NC-17 type cartoon fest (mostly due to the violence/cussing and such; this was pre-South Park days). Mike Judge (of Beavis/Butthead, Office Space, etc fame) had a couple of cartoon shorts in the fest. It was pretty funny.
