Well, finally getting the chance to tell her I'm done with the games. I'm nervous as hell, but hoping this works out for the best. One last deep breath... LET'S GO! :(

So you're finally going to stop playing games with her too. From my perspective you both are guilty of that.

Seriously, the conversation should go like this:

Mav: I've thought about it and you are correct; we both should see other people this summer.

Lady: But I thought you wanted to be with just me?

Mav: I do, more than anything, we both need to see what else is available so that we don't wonder what could have been.

Lady: *stunned silence*

Mav: We can see where things stand next fall after we have had some time apart.

Lady: But I don't want you to date other girls, I want you to wait around for me.

Mav: One rule, I'm always here if you need to talk about anything, except other guys. If you need to talk about that call one of your other friends.

Lady: But what if I REALLY need your advice or help.

Mav: No, I don't want to hear about you with other guys any more than you want to hear about me with other girls.

Lady: I guess not.


The thing is that you should try and talk with her no more than once a week during this summer (basically no more than you talk with one of your other standard friends). It's just as important that you stop acting like her boyfriend emotionally as much as physically.

Yeah, I started somewhere else, somehow got around to that video I posted in the Youtube thread of the John Deere sprayer that got superstuck in a field somewhere in North Dakota I think it said it happened, along with some more equipment videos, and then some how got into a run of ferrier videos before I realized what time it was.

I told her I wasn't going to wait forever, and I'm done waiting now. She needs to figure her life out.

I'm very good about not texting her first. I won't do it. If she wants my time, she can make an effort for it.

Wait for the Fall. Now you have become the unobtainable you are the chase/challenge she was missing. Better to cut everything for awhile and then meet like old friends if you see each other in a month or 2.

Good Morning Lodge.

Wait, no, it is kind of a crappy morning here with cool temps and more drizzle. It would be OK in April or October, but it sucks for almost Memorial Day.

Morning Lodge.

Day started out super fun *dripping sarcasm* Windshield wiper came apart on drive to work. It is fixed now, but not sure if it will hold. Then when I grabbed my lunch bag off the passenger seat the bottom was soaked. Next to it was my nearly empty Nalgene bottle. Guess it wasn't closed very well. I told this story to a coworker and now he is spreading rumors that my "water broke". *sigh*

But on a happier note, saw Michigan's hockey schedule has been released. Planning a trip to UNH. Considering making a sign that reads "go Mr. Les" for when Lowell plays here. Any of our Lodge fans from BU, Lowell or Tech planning on a visit to Ann Arbor for hockey next fall?

YES!! Already blocked the days off on my calendar. We're also playing Michigan St that weekend. BU and Lowell are travel partners. The night we're in AA, they're in EL and the next night we switch. Never been to Munn, very excited about that. Once plans start to formulate, I'll touch base.
