Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #162: Love Is In the Air

Weird? Most of that dream seems completely plausible. :p
Especially the part about mookie parking illegally, but getting away with it.

My dad passed away around 2:00 pm this afternoon. No matter how much preparation one has it still does not make it easy. My heart hurts. :(

I need to get some sleep. I have only had a few hours of sleep over the past 56 hours or so. Travel day tomorrow from Rochester to Bemidji and then time to start making arrangements.
Sorry, gmann. :(

Sorry for your loss, it will will get easier to accept but you will always miss him.

Sorrry, gmann. That just plain sucks.

Precisely. Time heals wounds, but nothing gets rid of the scar.

Morning Lodgers! Happy Friday to all! I'm happy that it is Friday and that I get to have some Val's and Buffaloes in St. Cloud this weekend. Oh there is hockey too but I already know the outcome of those games.

So I go dang near blind for 10-20 minutes a few times every few months. (happens every other day for two weeks, goes away for three months, repeat) Should I go to the doctor? It has only been going on for a year or so.

/no insurance problems

Uh, yeah

I'd probably go to the doctor before it sets in for longer than that, or permanently.:p

Good Morning Lodge!

Interviewing with an elementary counselor in an hour to discuss possibly setting up a mentoring program with some kids who need it there. Things should go well, I just hope the logistics can work out. This would be a great community project for my Community Leadership class as well.

Crisis over: pending drug screen and background check, I will be employed by Wal-Mart. Not exactly my life's dream, but Wal-Mart is better than the nothing I'm doing now. And I'm not going to complain.

Might wanna get that checked out, yeah. Vision fluctuations like that can be linked to blood sugar issues, so if you've got any of that in your history, might be the culprit.

If, on the other hand, it coincides with your..."alone time"...well it might just be that those old wives' tales are actually true!

Morning/Afternoon.

G, sorry to hear about your loss. Glad you had some time with him at the end.

On a bit more of an uplifting note, I bought an engagement ring today. Who saw that coming?
Planning to ask while on vacation in Hawaii later this month.
