Builds character. You wouldn't want her to be a Beagles fan would you?unhappy Tuesday, tLodge. Still reeling from last night. Am I a horrible parent for turning my daughter into a Huskies fan despite year after year of heartbreak?

How old is your daughter now? It seems like she was only born about a year ago.unhappy Tuesday, tLodge. Still reeling from last night. Am I a horrible parent for turning my daughter into a Huskies fan despite year after year of heartbreak?
NEVER!!!!! I already have to live with the fact that she's a Spankees fan... Poor thing. At least she roots for the Bruins and Pats.
They might need those huge truck mounted snowblowers or a front end loader to get a lane line that cleared. At some point the plows just can't throw the snow any more, because there is nowhere else for it to go. I'd bet that Boston doesn't have many of the snowblowers, because they'd need them fairly rarely, and it would take a long time to clear all the roads with a front end loader. I'd be surprised if the public works people haven't been working close to non-stop since the storm hit, there isn't much else they can do, is my guess. How did she become a Yankees fan? And I heard it was a great game. You lost to the eventual national champs. No shame in that. And I think you can infer from that statement what I'm trying to say. ::sob::
Drove in today as I head out to our Springfield office this afternoon. We're having another launch event there tomorrow. I live 4.5 miles from the office. It took me 50+ minutes. So many main roads have the right lane unplowed. I don't see why they can't clear those lanes up this week. There are rumors of another storm Sunday. Not sure where the snow will go. I am happy to report that my sidewalk I use to get to the subway station was cleared last night. That's a big plus.

That is kinda BS. In a snow-emergency situation like you guys had, the city should be able to get everyone there.i understand many didn't work over the weekend - either due to towns not wanting to pay ot, or the contractors were working for better paying clients in the private sector first.
