i understand many didn't work over the weekend - either due to towns not wanting to pay ot, or the contractors were working for better paying clients in the private sector first.

I've heard ramblings about this around here in some of the towns as well. It's a freaking emergency, money shouldn't be an issue, especially with everyone clamoring for "disaster status" from the feds.

nobody here has touched their "snow" budgets the last two winters. that "lock box" should be overflowing!!

Does anybody have suggestions on where to go to find a decent pillow? Will they let you lay down your head upon a trial pillow? I have a fairly expensive contour pillow from Select Number, some seven or eight years old now, and I keep waking up with a stiff neck. I think it's time to make a switch.

I have a memory foam pillow that was about $40 that I absolutely love. Actually have two of them. I can find out where 'Santa' got them a few years ago if you're curious.

"Perfect Pillow." I really like them. They're not super soft, but not as firm as some of the other memory foam stuff, and pretty affordable. Mine were purchased at Herberger's.
