Morning Lodge. HHT last night. Pretty sure there were lesbians. At least, that's the story I'm going with....

I am going to tend to agree here, as I witnessed supposed mug-runchers. Another in our group (a member of a different hockey board) also had that theory.

Fun time last night; decent music (quote that other member of our group: hey, this isn't country, it's Petty!), and got our bartender her Christmas bonus (oh, quiet you guys it's isn't THAT!). :)

Good Morning Lodge.

Jr is sick and will miss hockey practice today. Sported a fever of over 103 last night, negative for strep and influenza though so some other unidentified virus.

Pond looks a little better after the rain yesterday. Still really lumpy in spots, including where we put out rink. I may go hunting for water hose today. A couple of ours are getting old and brittle (no, that hose is fine, thankyouverymuch). I'll likely be doing some big time flooding to try and get decent ice.:(

Echo....echo.....echo....

Watching The Ref, My favorite Christmas movie.

What is the matter with you? I thought Mothers were sweet and nice a-a-and Patient. I know loan sharks who are more forgiving than you. Your husband ain't dead, lady. He's hiding.

Spent the afternoon in Rochester with the family for a Christmas meal; my extended family usually heads up here, but my grandpa isn't really strong enough to travel anymore; given the fact he's in his 90s, no surprise there. :( Good to see them all, though, since we usually only get to see each other for the holidays.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #159: Lodge's Attitude Toward Christmas/Holidays

Back to work. Had a good weekend. Both Friday and Saturday nights were a good time.

Bought a Savage .22-250 rifle yesterday at Cabelas, on clearance it was only $260, so a pretty good deal, then I spent another $200 on optics, and another $100 on ammo. I am now outfitted with a good coyote gun, so I might go kill some mangy woodmutts next saturday night, if I can get the gun sighted in decent on Saturday. This gun should be good out to about 400 yards, which should be plenty for coyotes.

Going to try to buy my dad's buddy's S&W .357 Magnum Revolver next weekend. I'm going there with cash, and hopes he decides that cash looks better than the gun.

Good Morning, Lodge!
See, that wouldn't bother me at all. I'd walk into that house with my arms held wide and proclaim, "Entertain me with your stupid antics!"

It's one thing when people are manipulative and causing issues, like gmann's in-laws, that would drive me insane. But it's another thing entirely when they're just obtuse and just do stupid things; then I'll just sit back and enjoy the show.

Mr. wore Black's grandma talks about how she is going to die soon. 6 years later she is still alive. Just die already! His grandparents have a dog that is not trained to go outside. Instead it goes on hospital mats and love to have an explosive episode while the family is sitting around. Then you have the uncle that is passed out on the floor at noon. Most of the family's diet consists of bloody mary's and brandy. That is just the tip of the iceberg.
