Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #159: Lodge's Attitude Toward Christmas/Holidays

Hello lodge.

Last night was fun. Went out to eat for my bday with my family and gf, then we all met up with some family friends for a comedy/concert/show at another bar that was really fun. It was a good night. I'm just waiting for gf to get done with work then we're going to my parents house ans she's going to bake cookies with my mom and I'm going truck shopping with my dad (not for me, he needs a new one). Might even visit my dad's friend and inquire about getting a revolver. I want to get a replica of an old Colt, and he might be able to hook me up. Then driving back to the cities to meet up with Brent and other friends for more bday fun tonight. Tomorrow I think I'm going to Cabelas to get some hardware for my new sling for the .12 gauge, and may also get the .223 coyote rifle I've been wanting for the last year if they have a good used one. It's my birthday, I'm going to splurge.

Doors open at 3 here, for any of the locals.

And Board must be active, because it's really slow for me right now. Only site that I visit that is lagging...........

Went and got a Christmas tree this morning, found it and cut it down in short order, its now up in the living room but not decorated. Its only a 10 footer, short for my house.

Current plan is to be at your place between 7 and 8. Hopefully weather/roads don't **** with that too much.

Just a drizzle down here right now. But yeah, hopefully the weather doesn't turn too bad.

And Monster's Cuba Lima.....wow. This could be their best one yet (tastes like Coke w/lime).

I do find it funny that they all but explicitly state that it should be mixed with rum.

Cuba Lima is indeed excellent. What did you think of the textured can? Thought it was pretty neat, myself. Could be the future of cans, seeing how I have dropped them before slipping out of my hand. I still think the orange rehab is my favorite, but the Cuba Lima is close behind.

The Arnie Palmer is my go-to. Meh on the cans. "Future of cans?" Remember the Mich Golden Light edged cans? :p

I'm going to test out adding rum to the Cuba Lima later today, for the bbdl B-Day pregame. Will report back. :)

100% agree on the orange rehab, though I'm a big fan of the Arnold Palmer one as well (which is somewhat strange since I can't stand iced tea).

Brent...I assume the Cuba Lima is at the Holiday by your place...?

It is.

Afternoon all. Not sleeping last night was a dumb idea, as my cough has gotten much worse. Gonna lay low for awhile.

I like the arnie's as well, but maybe I had too many as soon as they came out, Idk. They're definitely good, but if I have the option of orangeade or Arnie, I take orangeade 80% of the time.

*HT thanks to another Siouxkkake session.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #159: Lodge's Attitude Toward Christmas/Holidays

HHT for me.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #159: Lodge's Attitude Toward Christmas/Holidays

*HT for tonight. Seven gamedays in a row on the other side, it had to end at some point.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #159: Lodge's Attitude Toward Christmas/Holidays

HHT for me. I had forgotten how to get here. Our 3rd string goalie got the start....and the shutout!:)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #159: Lodge's Attitude Toward Christmas/Holidays

Morning Lodge. HHT last night. Pretty sure there were lesbians. At least, that's the story I'm going with....
