Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

Good Morning Lodge.

Yeah, I was thinking they deleted all the duplicate votes and then he lost.

So, instead of getting stuff ready for our trip up north last night, I got to run around and buy not one, but two refrigerators. We found one at Sears that will just barely fit our kitchen - only sticks out one inch beyond where our current one does. But we can't get it until next Friday. So then I ran to Target and got a dorm sized one to hold us over until then. Of course, this morning the old one seems to be working fine again, but I don't trust it to keep on working.:(
The same thing just happened to my parents refrigerator. It would run, but not run cold, the took everything out and put it in the other fridge, and just left the thing for a few days. Plugged it back in and it worked fine, and it is still working now, a few weeks later. My dad thinks it wasn't auto-defrosting correctly, and it just needed to defrost completely.

Two more days. Two more days. Two more days.

Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend!
Extra long 4-day weekend for me! And no vacation was even needed.

Don't really need it though, this week has been very low stress, I've been sitting around waiting for 3 days.

That was my thought too. Although I never unplugged it. It needs to be replaced anyway as it sometimes freezes food in the refrigerator section.

I have an extra stainless steel can coozie if you want it. This one is black. We were getting rid of the old, old inventory and I was able to get one. Let me know.

Do you need those for the fair? I just drink out of the cups from the stands. ;)

Just a different type of hack... Different uniform, same Freddy

FYI, the Green line is single tracking from Branch Ave to Naylor Rd due to an obstruction on the tracks in Suitland. I would guess it will be cleared up before you go home.

No need to sugar coat it.

Eh, its probably a tree that died. Its not really a great dumping ground and suicides usually happen at Gallery Place or other tunnel stations. Naylor Road-Suitland is above ground, i'd be more worried about deer.

That being said... *happy telework dance*.

This time tomorrow, I will be driving north. :) Alpena through Tuesday morning, then Houghton through Sunday.

First full week off this year.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

Evening, Lodge. Parents are out of town, so they asked me to raid their garden and fridge to "take all the perishable stuff home with me" :D Also, I'm not proud enough to not do a load of laundry there either, lol.

One more day. One more day.

Another long day. Oh, and yays I had my first half of year review, had about 5 minutes notice of it. Apparently, I'm above average, but not excellent.

Then why the hell do you count on me so much for so many different things?! Oh yeah, pay raises.

Don't get me wrong, good things came of it, but JFC this company needs to shed the internal reputation of them never ever ever having an excellent worker. The biggest complaint against me? Labels are not on completely (we're talking 100%, anal-retentive people would notice) straight. Yeah, ok.

Thank Parise the local store had Lime-A-Ritas in stock. I needed one.
