Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

Good Morning Lodge. Should be at work already, but since the site I'm going to is much closer to home than the office I'll leave late from home and go right to the site. So having a cup of tea and checking tlodge.

ETA: went to the BSM soccer games last night - jr's buddy plays on the B team so we saw the end of that, then the end of the JV game and start of the Varsity. Between JV and varsity they played Twitchboy's kind of music over the stadium PA. I wished for Hammer's shovel to go up and smash the offending MP3 player and whomever mixed that crap.

Oh yeah, Eden Prairie's program looked really strong and BSM really down - varsity lost a bunch to graduation off the State title team from last year. EP swept C, B, JV and I assume Varsity as they were dominating when we left.

bbdl, I'm quite aware I could have spliced into the cable, but not on a u-haul. My options were pretty limited and it ended up being a non-issue. If I get a PWC with trailer and have issues with that, sure, I would likely go that route if need be.
You splice in a plug on the car, not on the trailer, then it works for all trailers. I'm assuming you have a 5 pin plug, which means its simple, not a 9 pin where you need to wire in the brake controller, which gets a little more complicated, but still not too bad.

I've got the 7 blade plug.

Good morning, Lodge! I need to make cookies today!
Doing that now- choc chip and choc almond chip

Sweet, some love for math! MATHMATHMATHMATHMATH :D

Good Morning Lodge!
 NO MATH!!

After asking politely and trying to be reasonable about my work computer I finally lost my mind. The first response I got was a joking response that it not working was old news and he had moved on. The next was it really didn't matter I was surviving. I behaved in a truly unprofessional manner and pitched a fit. This appears to be the correct method. Some of it got addressed.

Tell them you are going to address it with a hammer next time, that may get their attention.

Not necessarily. You don't know what he's going to teach those players.
The finer points of how to hack and to get away with it. ;)

Funny how acting like a two year old can get you what you want sometimes.

Afternoon all. Here at work on my long shift today and I only have two appointments on the books. September needs to get here soon, so everybody is not on vacation and the kids are all back in school. More bored housewifes working out more, getting sore, and then needing a rub.

My car died. The Universe is just pouring on the frustration to test my resolve.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

I guess that is what happens when you study engineering in a state school. :D

Actually, had I stayed in state that may have happened. I really enjoyed when the engineering professor at College Park said they hoped "to be right up there with the Stanfords and the Michigans". That was while I was taking a campus tour as a potential student. It made my decision easier.

Those engineering schools in New York may be questionable. Boyfriend has an ME degree from RIT and couldn't correctly put together furniture.
