Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

Security system is being installed by Guardian as I type. Should be fun to tinker with while on my phone app for it, as I'll be able to control the lighting (2 lamps) and air conditioning, as well as lock/unlock the door and arm/disarm the system. Lots of vital features for me to be able to do while at work.

You won't be able to turn the surround sound system? :)

Good afternoon Lodge.

My FFL draft was last night. Hoven, I picked up Peterson and Peyton in the late rounds. It would be sweet if they worked out........

Little g met with some doctors the other day. Potentially not so good news. Long story short, little g is nothing short of a miracle and because he is active he puts alot of stress and wear and tear on his body. We have been watching a potential issue with his hips the last couple years and lately it has been getting worse. We will be meeting with an orthopedic surgeon later this fall. It is quite possible that within the next year or two little g could have a very invasive procedure done to each hip. f an a.

We have a friend who is an pediatric orthopedic surgeon at the U. He's not only a tremendous doctor but a wonderful guy, too. Let me know if you want more info.

Best of luck to him - hopefully he doesn't have to undergo more surgery!

Evening, Lodge. I have a theory that people drive like idiots when there's a full moon. Today simply provided more proof.

Obligatory lodge post. BTW, August ended with - no **** - zero rain in Seattle for the month. That is absolutely no precipitation. In Seattle. For the whole ****ing month. None. Nada. First time ever.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

Good morning Lodge. Posting from a Starbucks in the complex across the street from my building. There's a nail salon here and I made an appointment for a manicure at 11:30. My regular nail place was really busy so I walked over here. I could have walked back home then come back but figured I'd come here and get something and go online while I wait.

Went for a great walk earlier this morning. Found a great trail really close to my place. Wish i had found it sooner.

At the beach for the day yesterday. It was very windy. Still trying to clean off the sand from my iPhone and Blackberry.

AUGUST IS OVER. THANK EFFING PARISE.

What a horrible month. At least it ended well, with an impromptu bonfire at bbdl's last night. Perfect night for it. Hopefully it'll be the same next weekend, when his official hootenanny occurs.
