Just assembled my new grill, pretty nice setup... charcoal on one side with a gas grill right next to it. I wanted charcoal, but there are going to be times where being able to quickly fire up the gas side will be very convenient.
Furnishing a new house makes HP's credit card numbers burn off. Yeesh. Atleast I should be all set for hopefully numerous years.

I was wondering when someone would say something.
Technically, more a historical reenactment of a wedding. The site where I work is having a "cradle to grave" weekend - today we demonstrated the courtship and wedding of a couple that married in 1826, tomorrow a midwife and a doctor get to btich each other out about whose methods are better, and Monday we have a funeral. Again, a fake one.

Good evening Lodge.
Spent the day on the lake. The weather was perfect. I am hurting though. I was bare foot and in the water getting the boat situated on a sand bar. Not sure what was on the lake bottom but I have several deep paper cut like slits on the bottom of my feet/toes (6 on one foot and 8 on the other). I think zebra mussels are to blame.

True but dang, kinda glad I'm at home where all I gotta do is watch the girlfriends dog and make sure he doesn't tease our dogs too much.

No. I was in college when Zima first hit. That stuff was HORRID (hey, it's new, gotta try it for research). Lime-A-Ritas are a decent summer drink.

Think I figured out why the dog was so antsy tonight, nobody had taken him out for a walk tonight. so, about 30 laps around the roundpen later, I think I got him a little more calmed down. Also, I do think that helped to burn thru a lot of that limearita I've been feeling.

Good morning Lodge. Had dinner at Lutsen last night. Potato encrusted walleye. We split the poutine appetizer and it was awesome. Tried biking from Split Rock to Gooseberry Falls yesterday. Fortunately Mrs was having problems with her bike so we had to turn around. I say fortunate cause I woulda died trying to do the whole trip. The hills are killers for my old legs and out of shape lungs.
