Update on the scones: they turned out ok. Need some tweaking to recipe. I think next time, not going the almond chocolate chip route and replace with fresh raspberries.

Fun afternoon hanging out with the girlfriend in the D today. Mostly just wanted to be out of the house here. Anyways, went to the Greektown area to just walk around a bit, enjoyed some people watching, especially the Challenge Nation Detroit teams, sort of scavenger race having teams run all around downtown Detroit looking for their clues. Some of the costumes they had were pretty interesting. I think Mookie would have liked the Asian girls that were running around in Pink Viking outfits. I'm pretty sure one team used me for one of their options, but later on I realized that they might have screwed up that option as I read somebody else's list sheet and I think they thought Grand Valley was a Non-Michigan College, which was what the list was asking for. Then, did the Riverwalk a bit, then went on up to Shelby Township to the new studio that TK's boss is opening up tomorrow. Don't have it all up and running, but its going to take a little time anyways until they're going to need everything there anyways. Odds are TK is going to end up transferring to that location as its a lot closer for her right now.
