Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

Sounds more that fair to me. Their fault they didn't hook it up right or at least do a light check with a trailer just to double check.

Oh, something else you might be interested in. On the news here, they're talking about the cruise ship Yorktown. It just ran aground in the detroit river. Apparently, it was out of the channel according to some witnesses. They got tugs on the scene and working on moving it.

Hell, they didn't even need a trailer. The Uhaul place I went to get the trailer checked, thinking it might be a wiring issue, the guy had a little keychain tester where the electrical signal would light up the testing device. It was about 1" x 2". Then we checked to see if it might be my 7-4 pin adapter, but the same result with a new one. Oh well, hopefully I can fake out the traffic behind me with my ghetto running light simulation for brake lights! On second thought, it would be great if I only have to brake a little bit to take exit ramps...

There have been a slew of groundings up there lately. A couple up on the St. Mary's last week, now this. Not to mention the numerous ones down on the Mighty creek.

Talk to y'all from Virginia hopefully!!

Yeah, you take it really easy hauling yourself south. Probably wouldn't be all that bad of an idea to just stay behind a semi or two. They won't be going as fast as the regular traffic, and regular traffic would want to get around them. They're not going to stop on a dime out there on the interstate if they're up to speed, so you can take it easy slowing down for the most part. Ducking in behind one of them would most likely keep most of the average idiots out there off of your six so they don't tag you because they're tailgating you. Plus, around the trucks, the cops are more likely to be looking for something out of sorts with the Big Rig instead of you, as that ticket is a little bit bigger for them I believe.

Yeah, I would believe that the lake levels are down around here, would be causing a lot of problems with shipping here as well.

This could be huge.

That's what she said. ;)

Sorry, you just left that out there!!

Good morning Lodge. Beautiful day here. Went out for a walk this morning. Came home to find the front door of the building, the one with the lock on it, off its top hinge. So the door does not shut all the way. Had to call the emergency number of the building management company. Because anyone could just walk in off the street and get in.

Good Morning Lodge.

Great news on lil' g! Good luck to him in baseball.

Going to be a busy week here as jr starts his new school. Several events going on as well for us parents as they really try to involve the whole family as a community. Starts with New Parents night tonight where we will get his schedule and hear from pres and freshman dean. Also trying to get ready to go up to the North Shore next weekend, fixed the front tire on jr's bike last night and need to go over the other two bikes today.

Yeah, I thought it was something good here, until I saw that one of the trending articals on facebook was that Snooki popped out her little Anti-Christ. So that must just be another sign that the Mayan's were right and we're all DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a night. Totally a "traditional" TK night with this crew. How I have missed it.

FFL Draft today. This will separate the boys from the men.
