Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

Update on little g for those of you keeping score from home.

Well, his heart surgery went well. Just kidding. :)

Getting ready for kindergarten. School starts in a few days and little g has an awesome teacher and little g is pumped to begin school. School is just another incredible step in his journey. A few years ago it was not known if little g would be capable of going to school. It's now a reality. I am looking forward to see how he does academically. He has been reading books at a first grade level for a few months now. So awesome.

Wheel chair should arrive next week. Cripes, I shouldn't be surprised but I did a double take when I saw the price tag. Highway robbery.

In other news, little g has really been working hard this summer on baseball basics and he has come a long way in a short amount of time. As a result he has joined a baseball league. Miracle League of Central Mn. St. Cloud has a new facility/baseball field designed for people with disabilities. First game is tomorrow.
Great news on lil g! Hope he enjoys baseball!

Yeah, I thought it was something good here, until I saw that one of the trending articals on facebook was that Snooki popped out her little Anti-Christ. So that must just be another sign that the Mayan's were right and we're all DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Repent Sinners Repent!!! Praise the Lord and pass the Ammo!!! ;)
Forget the ammunition; just pass the booze. It's over, man.

I have more cookies to bake.

What a perfect day weather-wise. Spent all afternoon at the pool. Nice and quiet. Read a book. Got some sun. Could be the last time out there this year. Work tomorrow. Blah.

Got the Johnnie back to school today. Told him next year he needs to use more strategery and make sure he's on the first or second floor. :)

I've heard that one before from my father.

Lucky, I still have to wring my body out a couple or more times before I'm dry.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

Is she either blind or deaf? I could see blind working here.

And everyone's screaming for him to put it away.

Does she perchance want to be a ref?

And wait... did MNS... with a girl... uh. What?

Evening, Lodge. 9 hour workdays are always better when ended with Taco Bell, cake, and wiffle ball.

Draft? Done. Am pleased with my team. Actually more than pleased.
Had a beer with Sloe Gin, as he was in town.
Mentally exhausted after a lonnnnnnnnnnng weekend. And I am currently awaiting the replay of BB, since I missed the first showing.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

Get. A. DVR.

Not worth the cost (about $7/mo) for what few series I watch (3; and one is on SHO, which I won't get anyways). Given the convenience of replay and/or waiting one day for OnDemand, I won't ever bother. Only reason I missed the original showing is because Sloe Gin was in town. Not a big deal to me. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

uneventful first leg of the trip. Not much traffic or construction zones, so I was able to make pretty good time, really. Heading towards Raleigh, with a stop at 1 of the 5 VW dealers on the way to try getting my brake issue solved, lunch with some family, then on to Savannah GA probably. Wanted to get to Jacksonville but we'll see how I feel, not letting my Mom drive.

For the thoughts/prayers crowd, my uncle (who I should be having lunch with tomorrow) had a minor heart attack today. Luckily got to the hospital and was expedited to cardiology. Had a stent put in and seems to be recovering well. Some lower heart damage from the attack, but he was joking with the nurses and eating this evening.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

Yeah, I was just wanted to point out another reason why you wouldn't want to get a DVR. ;)

Considering the only thing I haven't really bought into for technology is a smart phone and debit card, your argument is invalid. Pay most bills online, have a Kindle, and rely heavily on the internet to communicate.....box.

Good Morning Lodge.

Jr starts his new school today. Had parent night last night and learned he knows at least one kid in three of his classes. I just don't know if I can ever get used to him wearing the evil RED color. :(
