Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

I see that one of Priceless's cronies or one of his duplicate accounts is still around handing out neg rep. I guess it was too much to expect for that doosh to actually leave.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

So, while I love and appreciate all the sage advice from you guys when I post here about things I don't have any time or inclination to learn about, mostly about my car, I didn't take any of it and went to the dealership this morning to have them check out why those lights were on. And yes, you were all right, the gas cap was loose. Now...I know I could have just tested that myself, but I'm lazy and didn't want to do one thing and wind up having to take it to the dealer anyway. Took about 20 minutes of time and they didn't charge me. Yay for that! :)

Happy Friday kids. Off today. Going to visit my friend who is a little over 8 months pregnant. My mom made a blanket for her that was supposed to be ready for her baby shower in June but wasn't. She finally finished it. I wanted to make sure she had it before the baby was born. I probably won't see her till October if I don't see her today.

Speaking of cars. My truck has had a shudder when I step it down, and that shudder has turned into an all-out bog to the point where I have the feather the "throttle" to jolt it out of it. I know exactly what's wrong. The VGT is sticking so when I accelerate and the VGT tries to slide open it sticks and ends up starving the combustion of air. We've had some VGT issues with this model before, since it is a new design. Since I'm still under warranty, I'm not even going to touch it, Dodge can deal with it. (as I have said before, the only reason to ever let a dealer touch your vehicle after it leaves the lot is warranty work)

Morning.

and where did Leswp disappear to?

It looks like she has also unfriended me on FB. :(

Sorry, les. I'm very sorry that Pricelss got cancer, but he has been a HUGE doosh on this site for some time and if someone calls him out on it and he can't take it, too bad. Bakunin seems to have taken off too, about the same time as Priceless.

From what I know (since I no longer deal with the Commie) from Sloe Gin, Commie is re-evaluating a lot of things in his life.

And here I just figured someone reported him for the cancer/lazy/welfare whore line and he got some vacation time again.

Friday afternoons sure are quiet at the new job. Production works 7-11 am on Friday. Around 1 pm, my manager was asleep in his office. I found it amusing. Maybe a half hour later, I saw him walking around the hallway looking groggy. I asked "how are you?" He replied "tired". Myself and a coworker had a good laugh.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

While its nice that its Friday, Fridays are always so boring. Everything grinds to a halt at about noon, and there is nothing to do all afternoon. I should just leave early on Fridays.

No time like the present. I hear bars are open by now. ;)

Wow, you wait until noon? I'm very impressed. We usually check out sometime late Wednesday.

Today has been a little interesting because I got to walk around to check things out in a department I don't see too often. Made lots of people very nervous standing nearby. Didn't even have a clip board with me, I was just watching. 4 people asked what I needed help with in a matter of 15 minutes and walked away looking over their shoulder.

We're going to the State Fair tomorrow, Brent, MNS, gf and me. I was thinking that there would be more, but people are probably busy. Is anyone else interested in going? State of Hockey? BPH, I'm sure your girlfriend would love to experience it! No one?
