Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

I need a yard. And I wasn't about to buy anything where i share a wall with someone else. Yuck.

Up to watch The Open!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Mornin' lodge! Stupid rain. A buddy is in a softball tourney this weekend. Last night they (a Class D team) took out a former national power (Class A; we're talking pro-level team). While not currently a national power, they are still competitive on that level, so it was a huge win for my buddy's team. They are supposed to play at 11am this morning, so I hope it's not going to be rained out.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Hopefully the rain is done by about noon. I'm supposed to go to Car Craft this afternoon

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

We are having an 80th birthday party (one June & one Dec B-day) for my in-laws a the cabin today, and expecting a good sized crowd. This rain can end now.

Looking at the radar (at least for Hennepin county), this rain is going to last for quite a while. :(

Sat-Radar shows it clearing north-to-south. I hope.
IIRC it's an 11AM or noon kickoff so we **should** be, ahem, in the clear. ;)
This should keep the dust down.... :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

I have somewhere between 2600 and 2700sq ft plus another few hundred in the unfinished storage area. I should figure out all those numbers someday. It's too much room for a single guy like me, and not in a good location. Once I'm able, i'm going to look into selling and moving somewhere north of here. I'd go smaller for the house, but I'd like to ditch the townhouse living and move into a single family home. I miss having a yard to mow and a garden to neglect.

Or find a nice cute honey-bunny and start procreating like rabbits ;)

2700 sqft townhouse? hmm...

Good morning Lodge.

A couple storms came through here between 4 and 6 this morning. Sun is out and there is a nice cool breeze. Windows in the house are open. Take that dew point!

Just got done wrapping up a couple cans of chicken noodle soup for little g II birthday party.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Well, the boys hung on to win again. 3-0 in the tourney (I think if they win it all, they'll have played 6 games on the weekend). Now that the clouds are burned off, it is STICKY out there. I don't envy them playing in this stuff. I remember those days, and they take a toll.

It was good to see the ol' gang again, some of whom I hadn't seen in 3-4 years. Also good to see some quality softball being played.

I only have three bedrooms. The house is pretty much made of a couple very large rooms and a few smaller ones.

The Coon Rapids North Cub Foods has one if the most attractive females I have ever seen in person working in the TCF Bank. Top three. Seriously. In fact, most if the rest are pretty good too. They should make a calendar. Not kidding.

TPIWWP, I know. But I was working, and I couldn't take out my phone and start taking pictures.

Well, if you've got anything worse, I don't want to know about it.

Nothing else, except having to do laundry - that doesn't really compare. :o

Get access to the security cameras. Problem solved. :p

Afternoon, Lodge. The gf is home safely, finally. After laundry time, I think it's ice cream for us :D

After some time in the sun, I think it's time for a Lime-A-Rita.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Well I got a nice surprise just now. I bought my TDK tickets through Fandango a couple days ago. Apparently there were running a promo with Amazon and I got $2 in credit for MP3s. And for whatever reason, I had another $2 MP3 credit sitting in my account. So I downloaded "Ultimate" by Prince (28 of his hits) to my Kindle. That's a helluva deal. :)
