Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

Good luck to lil g!

Have a line on an opening. Not sure I want it though. I'd be working for a guy I used to work with a number of years ago. Not the kind of projects I like/want. I'll pursue it though and see where it goes. Meeting with the recruiters tomorrow. They used to call on me to pitch people to me. Small world.

I am not jealous. I just had an awful day with the front office telling me they can't understand why I run behind (well, you morons- if you book a bunch of screwed up people in a row...) Even the 'easy people' weren't easy today. I need a vacation. I am not keeping up, I need to retire :mad: and all this talk of alcohol and good food is making me ....

Sorry to read that today was a tough one..............

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

Seeing your work and your boss's work (as well as the rest of my boss's staff aside from me) referenced in an e-mail on the local professional listserv in reference to a meeting with congress is a little intriguing.

edit: nothing bad in this case... but its certainly a new thing to me :p

Thanks. The kind of day you wake up and you know it isn't going to be good in your gut before you walk out the door.:(

you should get jasmine to come into work with and have her do promotions with the patients and other staff.. that would keep my interest going all day.

If my body wasn't on the ash side of smokin hot I would rather just quit and do her job. I need a new career. More and more paperwork (computer work) that my shoulder isn't tolerating, people b1tchin about their co-pays so want you to do everything over the phone and want the answer before now, insurances who penalize you if the patients don't come in or don't comply with a certain plan that the patient can't afford, yadah yadah. I didn't go to school to have the computer be the patient and the patient is the audio-visual aide. Have worked 13 extra hours and this week and am not even holding my own and it isn't the end of the week (salaried, no reimbursement or comp) After awhile it grinds me down. Maybe I should give in and have a chocolate milk even if it is Lent.

Good luck to little g. He's a tough nut, I'm sure he'll do great!

Having a crap week dealing with people. Idiot partner last Saturday did not know the difference between his prostate and his colon. Tonight in class, 2 classmates were arguing a test question from our last test saying that putting a seizure patient on their side is optional. Both of these girls have some healthcare experience and should know better. Add in PMS and the pie crankiness from last night and I already feel bad for my partner tomorrow (luckily I like her and we get along well). I'd have a drink, but we have no food to eat and I'm attempting to study for Mondays test.

I am and have been working on a couple high profile projects within the company over the past 18 months or so. Things have been going quite well with the exception of the person I report to. I think he has a medical condition. I am thinking Alzheimer's or something like that. Very frustrating and sad and odd. I will leave it at that.

Husky Fans, summer 2007: "Wow! What a great season we've had! Bit of a letdown at the Final Five, but we're returning pretty much everyone for next season including arguably the best defense in the conference and two grade-A goaltenders who can steal games. And we have this guy with a funny last name coming in who scored like over 9000 goals in British Columbia, and he's going to put us over the top on offense. A lot of talent graduated from the WCHA too. Next year is gonna be AWESOME!"

Casey Pierre-Zabotel's SAT Score, Michael-Lee Teslak's Spine, Matt Siddall, The Rest of the WCHA, Reality: "LOL."

Stop. Stop it right there.

1. This was not the best defense in the conference by a longshot; more like 7th or 8th best. Whereas Russell relied far too much on that top ten penalty kill (which fell apart after Helminen and Batovanja's departure), Pearson has some of the most unlikely players chipping in some offense. You can't win if you can't score goals.

2. I can count on one, perhaps two fingers the number of times that the greatly overrated Kevin Genoe has been a Grade-A goalie in his Tech career. My expectations for his senior year are just about zero. He will have to prove otherwise.

3. I have no concerns about Judge's SAT score if he's thinking med school post-hockey. ;)

I'm just trying to point out how easily weirdo shiat happening can harpoon a season. Maybe I'm just paranoid after living through 2007-08. Expectations can be a biznatch.
