Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

Frankly, I'm getting a bit bored with these piece-o'cake, had-'em-all-the-way, never-a-doubt-about-it, overtime heart-stoppers Denver is playing.

Gee, I hope the Gopher-Sioux game tonight doesn't go, oh let's say, five or six OTs. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

Good evening Lodge.

It has been a long day.

Cripes...........the weather here has been absolutely incredible lately. The only thing that concerns me is that mother nature tends to even things out and eventually we will pay for this nice weather.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

one hundred percent not just you. agree one hundred percent.

Did anyone see the Gopher fan and Sioux fan beating the **** out of each other last night at the X? Couple of donkeys..
The Whiouxsie lost his shirt - literally!

I met LWB yesterday before the SCSU/UND game ( :( ) and I think she scared HockeyBum. He was quite keen on getting to the arena early for that 7:00 game. :D DL tried to convince me that he's not a pedophile. Didn't happen.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

For Jose of you keeping score from home........all went ok with the procedure and little g is recovering quite well.

Btw........ the procedure was completed in Mexico. :p
cheaper there I am sure. Great for little g! Tell him Lil and I are saying a prayer for him.

The chick who is interviewing people at the HEA tourney has the most extraordinary bump-it in place. Looks like she has some form of malformation on the back of her head. When they show her on the big screen it is an even bigger bump-it. YIKES

Didn't I give you free beer? :D

Ruh roh. We better Brent-proof the Lodge.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

No. Let him go ape. That's what the * Hockey Table is for. If I can act like an 8-year old after last Sunday night, he can do so tonight.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

Apparently the Wild vs Florida game tomorrow afternoon is so unappealing that even sitting on the glass behing the goal and free beer isn't enought to entice some people. Anyone want to go?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

Also, after BU's performance tonight, I decided the one bourbon in my host's house tonight (Jim Beam white label) didn't seem so bad after all. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

*hockey and everything about it. Not going (even though I have a ticket - I need to learn to just by individual game tickets in the future as I never seem to use the championship game one) and not going to watch. I need a night off. I know they're still going to the NCAAs but they had such a major opportunity to move up and didn't capitalize. Sorry. Too much hockey talk for the Lodge. I'm going to bed.

For real? How many Tix and what price? The wife and I would have to leave the Chi-town area at 6am...

Ugh. Doubt we could go. I am interested tho.

*EDIT* Nevermind. It's the Hurricanes, not Panthers tomorrow. Not interested in them. Now if it WAS the Panthers, I would have potentially made the drive.
