Afternoon Lodge. Just got back from an interview. Sounds promising, and they'll want to get rolling the first week of April. Only downside of this job is that it's only for the upcoming project, but it *could* become permanent depending on how it goes.

Waiting to hear back how my interview went two weeks ago with another firm. That one is potentially more long term, but no guarantees.


At this point I'd take anything that paid the bills, allowed me to take a week off this summer for a planned trip, and gave me a little extra cushion should I get laid off this fall again. I've had cabin fever since last October (right after the layoff).

Watching the Tech-Denver game! A huge silver lining of the power outage.

Power came back on at 2:45. I will not be going back into the office though. :)

I made it, it came out deliciously, and tcbg tried it and liked it. Ha! While I can't mail it, I can definitely give you the recipe as it was really easy: dump chocolate chips and pecans into pie shell, mix some other ingredients together, add whiskey, bake, cool. Serve with (homemade for us) whipped cream. Let me know if you want the recipe.

Wishing we were headed to the Final 5 this year, but it's not in the cards. Hopefully next year... :(

**** repairman cancelled and it has to be rescheduled. :mad: Even though I am retired, I can't stay home all of the time.
