My tour guide at Glengoyne was a gorgeous girl that, obviously, had a sweet accent and said "wee dram of whisky" about 800 times. It was awesome. Seriously, she was a looker. I was able to try Glengoyne's 10 year old and 17 year old whiskys, and I ended up buying a bottle of the 17 year old.

But did you buy any of the whisky? :p

Edit: also, I don't do trains. I rented a car ans that's the way I'd recommend it. There were too many times that I wanted to pull off the road and check something out or take a bunch of pictures, and obviously you can't do that with a train. I think I would have missed way too much if I took the train.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Obviously the train doesn't stop for your photos, but I've had decent luck getting photos set up while aboard a train.

Morning, Lodge. Nothing so exciting for me today, just some cleaning and some hockey.

Flies are stupid. I have a sliding glass door and a sliding screen door that leads to my balcony. The molding on the screen door is worn and there is a hole at the very top. I know, I need to get it replaced. Any. Way. I'm currently looking at a fly that got in through that hole and is now stuck between the screen and glass door and is desperately trying to get out. I'd open the glass and screen doors to free it but it would probably fly into my place and then I'd never get it out. You'd think if it could find that little bit of worn molding to get in, it could find it to get out.

Afternoon Lodge.

Whew. Our bantams played an Omaha team today. Weird pace of a game, very few shots for either side. One of our D made a mistake in the third period allowing a 3-1 against his partner and they scored on the rebound.

About 4 minutes left in the game jr had a bad shift, couldn't get the puck out of our zone and had been out too long. He finally got it past the D on point and went after the puck, somehow he got past both D and knocked it ahead, skated in alone on the goalie and put it in. Less than a minute later the opposing goalie lost his stick in a scramble then the puck was cleared by their D, but right to our point man, the one who and made the mistake earlier, he drilled it. Scrappy, scrambley 2-1 win to put our boys in another championship game tomorrow.

Really crappy officiating. One of the refs (known as "Little Hitler" in the coaching community) called anything at all close on us while Omaha got away with murder. One of our guys hit their guy just as their guy had the puck slide off his stick on a rush and it was interference on us. Our D takes a shot from the point and 2 seconds later gets drilled by their forward and no call. Rinse and repeat. Seven penalties on us two on them. Should have been about 5-5 in penalties.

You'd think... But I've read that flies are stupid. ;)

I am an engineering student wise guy!

Plus I'm taking 17 credits, coaching a hockey team, etc. ;)

His point still stands, It's Kato, it isn't hard. Might be a lot of work but it's not hard.

6 college games on last night. ONE tonight due to all the bouncyball, and it's not even WCHA. It's Miami/MI. Whee. At least there are a couple pro games on.

Looks like I'll be surfing the score update threads.

*slamming head into my computer desk*

Did I ever mention that I hate my fanbase? * it, I am going to the bar to get more Hamm's glasses.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 143: A Golden ;) Oldie

I just heard about these Hamm's glasses. I'm quite intrigued.
