Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 143: A Golden ;) Oldie

Any goofer fans have access to tix for the Saturday night BSU game? I am looking for 2 more.
My brother has two seasons tickets and will be out of town that weekend. He mentioned selling the tickets to me, but I'm not sure I want the BSU game. They're section 1, about dead center in the section; the section is behind the net the Gophers defend twice.
Note to gmann: buy SRO tickets for about $10 cheaper. Sit in empty seat (usually the area next to the visitor's bench is the designated vistor's allotment). That's what I do when Tech visits the Gophers. Never had a problem getting a seat. I can't imagine BSU would be a true sellout.

I had actual seats to the game on Friday last week, section 3, row 7, and I hated them. It's just too close. I like to be back, higher up, the better to watch the full ice and see plays develop. That all leads to my buddy and I trying to jump into some seats we saw were empty about halfway through the second, and the lady was actually checking tickets.
Thanks. Good to know. So, if the my friend purchases sro tix is it policy that they can sit in an open seat until the ticket holder shows up?
No, it's not the policy, but most people don't care. I think I got boned because the attendance was too high last Friday.
Happy, happy! Joy, joy!
I really wanted that shutout. Suck it, Bucky!

My fave seats are either way up top on the end (see play develop) or on the blue line just over the glass. But if it's 2/3 price, I take what I can get. ;)

CC to mookie. That disturbance in the force you felt today? She was a pianist. ;)

Today was a good day!

If you don't want to go SRO, I know some people that usually have some available. Let me know and I'll give them a call.

Celebrating a OT dubya against Eli with a few Bud Light Platinums. They taste about 500% better than Bud Light, which isn't saying much, but it really is a decent "mainstream" beer. My tolerance is so low, I'm feeling the effects after 3, yikes.

I like Budweiser, as a nice tailgate/crap/sentimental beer. But Bud Light? I'd rather drink Miller. You don't want to know my thoughts on Miller.

We'll see. I may just stay in and curl up in a ball and sleep. I'm pooped.

It's casual. One college game on, and BPH is the only visitor as of now. Chez is low-key this weekend, due to work scheds and out of country friends. ;)

I don't mind Bud, but it isn't all that great. These Platinums I would definitely drink somewhat often.

Shouldn't have had coffee after dinner. Oh well.

It's weird that RFalph and MeUSA will be here in about 4 hrs . . . :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 143: A Golden ;) Oldie

So Sunday and Monday are going to be my last two days off for approximately two weeks, maybe longer. Their solution to us being so short is asking me and the other guy if we want to just work everyday and get OT. We'll see how long they can make this last (4 weeks is my guess).

The good thing that has a high probability of happening by the time the dust settles is, I will be promoted.

You're freshman - just the weed-out classes now, right? Calc, physics, freshman comp, etc. And it's just a squirt B team isn't it? ;)

What major, or undecided?

I have had a Kato ME grad working for me before. He's not bad, course I helped train him when he was a designer/drafter before he went back to school for the BS degree.

Civil. It's not terrible, and I'm doing fine, just long stressful weeks. It's manageable, that's for sure.

HHT tonight. ctf talked a lot of trash and that back fired for her tonight to say the least:)
