Dammit! If I knew I was going to be at the Happy Hockey Bar, I would have stayed at the real bar longer. Mostly to collect more glasses.

I didn't say it wasn't good or that it wasn't a lot of work just that is wasn't all that hard.

The issue is that in all the classes you are effectively competing against all the other students, unless you are taking general chem, intro physics, and calc 1& II against uptight pre-med majors you have it easy. Pre-med majors are the spawn of the devil for all other college students.

That's been happening for the last three years in the CCHA. (See: Kampfer/Conboy as Exhibit A). It's one of the bright points in leaving the CCHA. Just as long as Pitrowski stays the Hell away from the new WCHA.


As for which table I'm at tonight, I'm just stopping by the *HT to order a bottle of Jim Beam Black. I'll take it "to-go" and go sit on the Lodge Porch waiting for pitchers and catchers to report...

I had a nice long post about last night but then the post monster fed on its contents leaving nothing more than a couple of commas and a period. Hungry SOB :mad:

Short version... yay hockey, 2.5 mile walk from capitol to GW (starting at PQST) so that I could pay $0 transit going home, walked most of pennsylvania ave nw, walked past occupy dc, wondered and then realized why they don't hang out in lafayette park (astroturf), found a family of ducks in the 1800 block, got a picture with me and a drunk girl last night (and a good deal of affection)... a good dose of playful teasing goes aways... didn't get number but not bad for 2 minutes worth of work... blast me as needed.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! sunday, day of rest (No time for fonts etc)
Fun filled day yesterday with all my favorite things. Now- laundry all day and some silly big event tonight that the rest of the world is excited about and I will read my book. :p

Good morning Lodge.

The boys are watching the original Looney Tunes for the first time. They have belly laughed more than a couple times.

I think Looney Tunes are awesome as that is what I watched as a boy. I have not seen any of the cartoons in many years and I forgot just how violent and un pc they are. Example........We just watched an episode in which a farmer wanted to get rid of some kittens so he put them in a gunnysack and threw them in a lake.

Edit.........went and saw Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close last night. I would give it 2 out of 5 stars.

Had a blast last night. Decent hockey, some horribly horribly awesome movies (Dolph Lundgren In The Killing Machine, Rumble In The Bronx [badly overdubbed], and Anaconda), and great friends.

gmann.....be wary of your visit here. We are probably showing up. :D

No, really, dunno about the actual game, still figuring out who is going and such, but we are working on getting down there for sure.

One of the first DVD set I bought was a Looney Tunes collection....my kids loved them and still pull the out to watch. The other one I bought was Soap....funniest dam show ever and they loved that one too. :D

I discovered that via Netflix a couple months ago, but I got wrapped up in other stuff and haven't watched past Episode 5. My mom religiously watches The Young and the Restless, and Soap is a good parody. I should get back into it.
