Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old

Good morning Lodge. I need to tell people to stop setting 8:30 meetings. Too early!!!

Met my friends for a much needed glass of wine last night to unwind after the stressful day I had. Hottie bartender asked if Wednesdays are my new Thursday and I said no. Thursdays are my Thursday and that I'll be there my regular time and place, make sure no one is sitting in our corner, thankyouverymuch.

December 1st and it's a bright, sunshiny mild day out. LOVE IT!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old

Vacation has commenced. So far, I've already switched to day mode (in just two days ) and will be doing the lovely 900 mile drive to Denver tomorrow.

JF - I only have nine days of work left this year, and that won't happen 'til the 18th (a minor issue of two and a half weeks of vacation before my last stretch of shifts). :D

Good morning, Lodge! 4 cups of coffee later, my nutrition final project is done!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old

Think I sprained my ankle on the way back from lunch by rolling it on the uneven pavers on the ped mall. Hurts like hell.

Ahh yes, but corn fuels everything! Not much can be done without corn!;)
I am definitely not against corn, I'm 100% for corn. We've got millions of dollars worth of corn in the bins at home, but that is good MN corn, no evil Iowan corn. ;)

Here for my usual Thursday night out and who shows up? Mike Eruzione. Hottie bartender was impressed when he came over to chat with me.

Who wouldn't be, but then who wouldn't come over to chat with you either? Did you call him Rizzo?

ETA: When I told that story to jr just now he said "he was 21 too" as jr's # has been 21 for 4 years. It was Tommy Pohl's # and Johhny Pohl's # with the Leafs. In our association the teams get a set distribution of numbers based on jersey size, but the team manager can sometimes make sure certain players get certain numbers.

Good evening Lodge.

Currently watching the show Santa Claus is comin' to Town. Not one of my favorites.

Inlaws have not been raising a raucous about Xmas. Not sure if that is good or bad.

Depends on if your DW can withstand the pressure.

Does the team manager have to wash the cake off the jersey before distributing them? :p

Year Without A Santa Claus is MUCH better. My favorite Christmas special, though, is A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Evening, Lodge.
