Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 140: The Brave Days of Old

Does the team manager have to wash the cake off the jersey before distributing them? :p

Is that how the dummies on the east side do it? General Sports knows we want to EAT the cake not get it smeared on the jerseys so we pick up the cake separately in really nice boxes from Wollett and don't get any on us. :p

I bought a Groupon from Woullet. They have a location in the Skyway now, in Pillsbury Plaza (US Bank Plaza now, I suppose). I'm looking forward to trying that place, I've heard good things.

Ohhhh Fridley is much worse than Moose Lake, or Blaine, or whatever trailer trash city you are in. :D

MNS: Emo boy? I haven't seen him. I've seen Cat Lady, Old Guy, Super Pumped To Help You Guy, and General White Trash Girl most often.

Blaine has two faces: The east side and the west side of Highway 65. There's probably a $100,000-$150,000 jump in average home price by crossing 65.

goldy: I would, but so far I haven't been able to talk with DHead Boss to get the info. There's some website you go to (not my company's) that links in somewhere to submit an application or something. It's *ed up. I suppose you could TRY my company's website, and see if you could fanagle your way in from there. And I have mentioned it to BPH. :)

And another 11.5 hour day today. At least today is my Friday!

That's not metal. :D

They're pretty good though.
Porcupine Tree is definitely not metal. But they're amazing. I saw them in NYC fall of 2010. They did 3 sets, about 2 1/2 hours of music. It was one of the best performances I've ever gotten the opportunity to see.

In Baton Rouge for the next day or 2. Getting hints from my captain that I am getting closer and closer to being turned loose on my own to drive the boats... scary and exciting. With it, obviously comes a lot more responsibility, since nobody is there to watch over me/ask questions directly, but it also comes with a nice little raise. Hopefully by February/March I'm guessing.

Nice! And that being said, I am glad I'm not travelling amongst the waters...

Good morning gentlemen!

Sad hockey fan here... I've got scarlet fever & no idea how I'm going to make it through the whole day of work (haven't slept AT ALL), and then I can't even go to tonight's game as I'll be "babysitting" my uncle who has down syndrome & denentia. :(

Good Morning Lodge

I bought a Groupon from Woullet. They have a location in the Skyway now, in Pillsbury Plaza (US Bank Plaza now, I suppose). I'm looking forward to trying that place, I've heard good things.

I am only a couple blocks by skyway from that one and I almost bought that groupon. They do have great pastries. Although I can't spell their name.:o

And MNS, we're not some trailer trash association who hands jerseys down from season to season. Two new jerseys and two new sets of socks every season with name plates on the back of the sweaters. :p The unis are bought with funds from the team sponsors by the way. About $1500 per team for that.
