You mean during this rain? It's not letting up anytime soon. I went to Menard's and picked up a bunch of wood to build an ark.

EDIT: supposedly a tornado has touched down near Hwys 394/100, which is pretty close to my place (maybe 5 minutes away by car).

No, I'm not taking shelter. * that. :p

Ready to post in the Bring out your Dead thread. Lil may be dead soon. Failing in a class with no homework because he didn't hit the send button- he forgot. Help me please. :rolleyes: This boy is in for a world of pain. A+ for Stupid is a possibility. Do you tell your rabid parents it is "only a progress report" and expect that to fly? I think not. :mad::mad::mad: The kid had an A in this class last quarter.

Why do teachers give kids an opportunity to do extra credit to boost their grade. Makes for awful habits. As witnessed by my offspring.

Psst: "after" means "not during". Just an FYI. ;)

Also, schist is getting real up here - there's a tornado on the path between my place and Nathan's. :eek: Not taking shelter either, lol, but it's ugly south of me.

And at the time, there was not going to be an after, from the looks of it. ;)

For the last hour, NBC has been telling me that a) it's raining b) take cover c) it's raining d) ooo tornado

We get it. Now show the dam hockey game!

Extra credit, eh? What a concept! Maybe he could run a few sub-five minute miles to improve his grade.

We got a quick thunderstorm coming in soon. It's not going to take long, but it's going to be loud.

We told him if he pulls an F in anything XC season is over before it starts. He almost pooped his pants. :mad:

In the past hour: rain, tornado, sunny, rain, another tornado, more sun, rain, and sun approaching again. I haven't seen this extreme change in weather this quickly in years, if ever, here.

There's a little red on the radar heading directly towards us, but it's moving quickly and it's not a big storm. It's going to blow through here quick.

I'm starting to wonder if it's going to miss us altogether.

Why do schools allow mothers to go online and check grades, makes them go insane:D. Sounds like a discussion that happens at our house. Mom, Mom, the homework is in the teacher hasn't posted it yet:D

Good call. Ya gotta set tough academic standards. By making him earn a D-, D or D+ that will keep alive the dream of earning that full scholarship to Harvard.:D
