Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

How is working the bus going?
It's been an adventure. Twice this week, the battery has died. :o But, really, it's actually been fun. I'm learning the state pretty well (I was up driving around the Big W - I have no idea how to spell the lake's name - earlier this week and I went up to Dartmouth last week). Is it what I want to do forever? Nope, but the hours are pretty flexible (right now I work 4 10-hour days, I have Wednesday and weekends off) and I seem to have about 2 hours of down time during the day, which will be good for studying. My sociology class starts next Wednesday, then I've got Psych starting in mid-July, the NSG 101 w/ clinicals starting right after Labor Day!! :D

Sounds like things are really starting to come together :D

I work with a dude (he's a photographer on the side) who knows your brother. Works a lot of alternative and metal shows/parties. He's also shot your band (one of them), but I didn't see you in the pictures (not sure if you're still in this particular band...tough to keep track these days. :p ).
No kidding? Who is it? I'm up to 4 bands now haha...

Good Morning, Lodge!
Dammit that song!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

I just talked to Jesus and he wanted me to let everyone in the lodge know that when the Rapture hits tonight everyone's rep totals will be reset to zero and he's sorry for the inconvenience but his IT department told him there is nothing they can do about it.

eh, would give us all something to do in between bashing zombies over the head.

Bored at work. they were going to have me not come in because its just that slow and well, with the nice weather, they're doubting that we're going to have much in walkups. didn't get the message until I got here, so I might as well stick around I guess.

I went and priced kitchens today. This should get done pretty cheaply.

And now it's nice out in the Twin Cities. Just returned from a grad party in goldy's exclusive gated community......some nice shacks over there.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

i had to stop and read this again.. first pass i got "went and priced kittens today..."

did the same... frankly, though, if you get a few decent ones as kittens then when they grow up to be cats you can usually get a good amount of meat out of them.

Oh, wait, those are cows... meh... same difference.

No reason to watch The Belmont Stakes this year. I am sure the horse racing governing body is disappointed. Since this is the only time anyone seems to care about the sport.

I'll still watch.

I'd go to Canterbury more, but I hate the crowds on the weekends, and it's tough to get there on weeknights with my work schedule. Used to love to head out there on Friday nights, and not even to necessarily bet. It's a fun time.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Oh no, after 6PM, I blew all my money at the craps table expecting the rapture, and I'm still here. I'm going to hell. :D
