Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

ugh... you know, its rather annoying when you decide you're going to get delivery only to find they've jacked up the delivery minimum... this might be the last time i get chinese for myself for awhile. $15 minimum+1.50 delivery+tip... blah.

edit: extra chicken wings for lunch tomorrow.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

I wish I could say what I was doing at work (I can, but not around here)... 'cause its driving up the wall... I had 6 (7?) meetings on my project this week... including three in three hours... the project is congealing more every day but its still full on nuts. There's a deadline of June 27th... I know we won't make it but we'll be close (within a couple of weeks). I have all the steps lined out, its just a matter of hitting them all.

Stress is just through the roof though... i'm looking forward to the afterwards though. If this all goes my way then I will have validated myself in my profession and I can get to work on some other things in life.

Good morning Lodge.

Today is little g's birthday! He is now 5 years old. Wow, does time fly.

This day is always bitter sweet for me. So many emotions surface both good and bad but in the end it is all good.

Happy Birthday little g! :)

Two cakes. Birthday is today and the party is tomorrow. A DQ cake tonight and a chocolate cake tomorrow.

WANT! I never got an ice cream cake for my birthday... maybe I'll treat myself for year 30 :)

A bike. However, the bike was delayed getting through customs and will not be delivered until next week. :(

Two cakes. Birthday is today and the party is tomorrow. A DQ cake tonight and a chocolate cake tomorrow. Both cakes will be decorated via Thomas the Train.

I asked Little g this morning what he wanted to eat for a birthday dinner tonight. His reply? "Steak, cole slaw and broccoli and cheese." That's my boy! NY strips are ready for the grill. :)
Hell sounds like a darn good party to me. Just needs some babes and juice I think.

Yup. Checking out today I spotted a slightly full Asian woman in a skirt with a nametag walking past the front desk toward their spa....
I immediately felt regret!!! :(

Of course with a skirt she was in no way a rub'er... Probably spa front desk

Right monster?!? ;) :p
Doubtful, skirts weren't considered to be proper attire at my school. Doubt any other legit school would really accept anybody working in one. Far more likely to be the desk help.

I'm not an abuser!!:p I never drank until hockey was finished though. Hockey was always my number one priority. I even dumped a girlfriend of 14 months, as well as for other reasons, because of my commitment to hockey.:o

If I can die for my country and fight in a war, shouldn't I be able to enjoy a beer?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Good Morning, Lodge!

No earthquakes in Australia. Once again, the rapture guy is wrong.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

THis made me laugh. Good way to start the morning.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! silly saturday.
Lots to do and so little time.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

Been raining pretty much all night here. Maybe the rapture guy got the earthquake part wrong and it's going to be the second flood instead? Wish I had cleaned out the boat or gotten a bigger one if this is going on for 40 days and 40 nights...

On that note, the kid and I are supposed to go pick-up a rain barrel today.

My brother just moved to Boca. He loves it. Doubt he's coming back either.
I work with a dude (he's a photographer on the side) who knows your brother. Works a lot of alternative and metal shows/parties. He's also shot your band (one of them), but I didn't see you in the pictures (not sure if you're still in this particular band...tough to keep track these days. :p ).

Nice! Many happy returns to little g!
