Well, our wrestling named friend, since scarlet is probably in the middle of taping right now I'll fill in some blanks (that of course she's shared here over time).

1) her brother works out there. He writes for a show popular with young'uns. (or has recently, honestly I don't keep up).
2) she is on the short mailing list for tickets to attend award shows. She has gone forever and was recently on tv at the red carpet for he emmy's.
3) this excursion tonight is the result of her winning a live auction to attend kimmel's show and be an honored audience member. She went to this event with me in June to raise money for matt brown. A local hs hockey player who broke his neck. We went because there was supposed to be a BU gamer from the frozen four. It was something else, so I bought some rounds of golf and she bought airline tickets and tv talk show access.

Thanks. I was curious because I remember the Academy Awards appearance. Sounded like someone plugged into the entertainment industry. Pretty awesome stuff.

its certainly a different world... one that you find hard to exist so its interesting when you find those that you know (even barely) interact with it.

When my sister worked on those 3 films she interacted with people that everybody would recognize... it was just odd... to me those people aren't real. So, asking questions about it for me was "so, they're not robots" type of stuff.

I always figured she had like a work tie-in for the award shows... it must be crazy.

Well, that was kind of a bust. Sigourney Weaver wasn't there. She will be on the show but they must have taped it last week or something.

Conduit, just run it along the wall at the same level, and you can have it pop out where ever you want it too. You could paint it the same color as the wall, or a different color to make it look different. Would take some practice getting the bends on it right if you do it yourself. ;)

Morning.

Weather report for my drive home Thursday was NOT what I wanted to see when I woke up. Heavy. Rain. Ugh, stupid drivers who think that the first blizzard of the year is upon them will have countless acts of road rage committed against their cars. And, there is nothing I hate more than driving in the rain, talk about miserable.

Morning Lodge.

I got a reprieve for one day from going to Houston, but I'll have to fly down there tomorrow. Oh well, at least I can get some work done on the house tonight. Yesterday got a bunch of stuff moved in, but nothing in the house, just boxes moved from the storage unit to the garage. We're doing a bunch of painting and trim work before moving stuff in, now I need to find some appliances and furniture.

Guest beer? I'm getting Grain Belt for everyone, why do I need a guest beer? I guess if someone like ctf shows up, she could be relegated to BPH's beer instead of Grain Belt.

Well, if we don't cash it Friday night, someone will have to deal with the rest of the keg, I will be heading to Houghton Saturday morning, so I won't be able to do anything with it Saturday night. You guys can drag it to Brents and drink it there all day Saturday. :p

No need to move furniture. First of all, I don't have any furniture yet, second, can't move stuff until painting is done. :)
