Seems to me that these fans should be thrilled at the prospect of the Gophers leaving the WCHA. You guys can have a fairly neutral atmosphere at every final five, no team will be guaranteed the night slot for tv revenue purposes, and no team will get a disproportionate benefit from the officials. Hell, even FSN can provide you with neutral broadcasts similar to the high school ones, since the Gophers will likely switch over to the BTN (the postseason tourney would certainly be carried there).

if you think that the Final Five will still be held in St. Paul and FSN will still pick up the broadcast with both the Gophers and the Badgers leaving the WCHA, I'm shocked. North Dakota and St. Cloud, for the championship game, could not fill that arena last year. Without the Gophers/Badgers, there is 0 incentive for FSN to pick up the games. The allure of the Final Five will die.

I'm watching football right now. I had the UMi game on for a little while, it took about 45 seconds before I was so annoyed by that ****ing godaweful song that I had to change the channel. For christ's sake, do they have to play it after every ****ing first down? Oh well, SEC football is better to watch anyway. **** the Big 10.

In the process of making two different batches of chili for a chili competition tomorrow. Not sure about this first one - new recipe, but stoked for the second, which is a more traditional chili.

6 meals a day in the summer. a bit less during school but only because he isn't near the kitchen. And he is still thin as a rail

Thanks everyone. Finished in 2:24:20, about 20 minutes faster than I had anticipated.

After I finished, I was awarded a new beer glass and had it filled with Old Boys' Oktoberfest brew... tasted great all the way down.
