The day Tech hockey disappears as a result of all this, I become a full-fledged pompous arrogant engineer better than you maize and blue I know someone who passed up an Ivy to come here HAIL TO THE VICTORS ****ING VALIANT Wolverines fan out of spite.

Thanks. :) Apparently the kidney stone was larger than they figured, and he has to stay overnight, then go back in for more surgery in a few days. But, he's out of surgery now and recovering - hopefully everything goes well.

6 meals a day in the summer. a bit less during school but only because he isn't near the kitchen. And he is still thin as a rail

Good morning Lodge. The sun is finally out. I've already done two loads of laundry, need to do more and clean my bathrooms. And just generally pick up and throw stuff out around here.

I'm with you on this one, and I'm already rooting against all of the big 10 teams as much as possible. I hope they all implode in upon themselves.

Let's see, people have b*tched about the following over the years pertaining to the Gophers:
- Their broadcasts are too biased in their favor
- They get to host the final five every year
- They get the night game on Friday at the final five
- They benefit from most of the calls

Seems to me that these fans should be thrilled at the prospect of the Gophers leaving the WCHA. You guys can have a fairly neutral atmosphere at every final five, no team will be guaranteed the night slot for tv revenue purposes, and no team will get a disproportionate benefit from the officials. Hell, even FSN can provide you with neutral broadcasts similar to the high school ones, since the Gophers will likely switch over to the BTN (the postseason tourney would certainly be carried there).
