Greetings from SNOWY North Dakota! It started snowing this afternoon at about 2:00, and snowed until after we got home after 6:00. Enough came down to make our world white. During the drive home it was actually coming down hard enough to reduce visability to less than a quarter mile, and speeds on the interstate were down to about 55 mph. Even went past a car in the ditch.

According to the calander, its still supposed to be summer!

Good morning Lodge.

This weekend my plans include (in no particular order):

* Watch the gophers destroy USC.
* Make dinner for some friends then attend a grapestomp being held in town and drink a bunch of wine.
* Watch the Vikings humiliate the dolphins.
* Watch the Twins prepare for a run to the WS.
* Hang out with the little gs and keep them entertained.
* Try to not answer the phone if fil, mil or bil calls.
* Go to the gym Saturday and take the boys to the pool on Sunday.
* Take little g to Sunday school.

Lil has XC practice in the AM, Hockey practice if he is done in time, a game in the afternoon, then to my in-laws for a BBQ, leaving there for another hockey game then home. Sunday- more hockey in the AM, leading HS group at church, more hockey. Sigh.

After a week in a hotel its good to home with my dog and family

No one else picked up the order these were listed in?

Evening, Lodge. Dad's having kidney stone surgery, and the PSU situation is concerning... so I'm going to watch a movie with lots of stuff blowing up.

Hope your Dad is OK. Lil just watched 10,000 BC. Stupidist. movie. evah!

Thanks. Apparently the kidney stone was larger than they figured, and he has to stay overnight, then go back in for more surgery in a few days. But, he's out of surgery now and recovering - hopefully everything goes well.

I hate knowing that parents are mortal.

I think I'm going to lay low tonight at home, watch some baseball and read a bit. I'll be going out with the group tomorrow night. I'm expecting brent, MNS, and BPH to be up for some fun tomorrow night! Anyone else want to come with? It'll be fun.....

I'm gonna call it by ear, if you don't mind. Probably will want to get out, but I kinda wanna see the folks too.

Mikkes harders have hit me hard enoguh to be drunk. My asian friend left as she has a sailing regatta in theAM. I;m finishing my 20oz "hawian punch; and going to bed. Almost to shenanicans mode.

For those counting at home: 3 mikes harder lemondae (8%) and 1 4lokos (12%)... working on my 2nd.

I knocked 2 pints of KBC Hobo Express in honor of the two UP teams who had death certificates signed today. Then I had 2 glasses of wine to toast the death of the lesser Soo Tech abortion on ice. I like wine and beer and off color humor and hysterical new foreign exchange student friends.
