I never seen, Gone with the Wind:D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 117: It's The Dog Days of Summer

Do we need any more proof that the south just shouldn't exist?
Yes, the south serves a purpose, it gives the rest of us something to pick on. Plus, really, moving to NC was one of the best things I ever did. I guess I could have moved somewhere else, but the distance was good and so was the break from winter.

Yeah, I would put FBDO on the list of "must-see classics from our youth".
You know what surprised me is that Mini-legal likes the movie as much as we do.

Speaking of older movies from the 80's I watched part of War Games last night. Let's play Global Thermonuclear War.

I never seen, Gone with the Wind:D
You're a guy, you don't have to see it. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 117: It's The Dog Days of Summer

I went to BWW for lunch today, was craving the asian zing wings. At one point there were 3 different channels on the many TV's, all three were talking about BrettFavre at the same time. Awesome.
Just talked to El Capitan. I emailed you his phone number. He's expecting your call. :)
This sounds like the precursor to a drug deal.

Thats not a very nice thing to say. :p

Hey GLM, you're famous now. Your Kovalchuck story just popped up on my RSS news feed. :p

Hilarious that people have turned the comments section into an anti-overpaid athlethes rant. Welcome to the big show man. :D

It only took me about 20 seconds to find his article, big show indeed. Well done, GLM.

You forget, she grew up in the UP. The TV's up there still have knobs, buttons and antennas.
Hey now, I just turned on my TV with the remote control!

I never seen, Gone with the Wind:D
Me either.

that's the sequel to Twister where they learn how to fly, right?
What's that? Juust kidding I've heard of it, but it's always looked scary to me.

:jealous:
I want Bdubs. :(
Is Scarlet trafficking asian sex slaves for mookie? ;)
There's apparently going to be a presentation about sex trafficking in Houghton this week.

Day 2 of Pizza Hut Express training done. It's a lot of running around and with the oven on the whole day it's a frickin sauna back there. Hopefully everyone else is seeing what I am, that we need a full mid person there to concentrate on the Pizza Hut stuff rather than using me or the other cash office person as a "mid" until 3:30 after we get done with our work there. It's not hard work, there's just a lot to do and keep an eye on.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 117: It's The Dog Days of Summer

asian sex trade was brought up with my name attached?!?!?

Just talked to El Capitan. I emailed you his phone number. He's expecting your call. :)

talked with him, thanks.

we have a window in august to get this set up.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 117: It's The Dog Days of Summer

Figures. I got the DSL functional and now the DirecTV doesn't want to cooperate.

EDIT: I think I fried the DirecTV box. I shut off the breaker to swap out a couple busted outlets, and when I turned the power back on, everything works just fine...........except the dish. No TV tonight or tomorrow night unless I conjure up a way to get the dish functional.

I HAVE DIRECTV AGAIN!!!

Reset the breaker one more time, and everything loaded up. Just in time for Deadliest Catch.

Scarlet, whatever did I do to you? Why did you have to make me hate Tuesdays, also? :(

Got into work, found out our off-site location worker is sick. Usually that's great, since I'm the backup and I love it there, but they didn't tell me right away, and started the day 1/2 hour behind, which is torturous in my line of work.

Then apparently everyone in the metro area bought stuff today, and we didn't get done until 7:30 with everyone staying late (usually just the later shift stays late).

THEN, found out one co-worker is out at least a month for FMLA (we think his mother needs care, she hasn't been well), another worker will be out until Sept b/c of surgery (non-work-related) and yet another worker will be out at least a week b/c of surgery (non-work-related).

I need a vat of margaritas, stat.:(
