well Lodge, looks like my decision was made for me. A press release is supposed to come out today saying Aspen will shut down September 30th and Lynx is going to return its last airplane on the 30th.

As grateful as I am to be employed right now, my stomach is turning that I am working for the company that is shutting down Lynx. I can only hope that the integration comes out favorable for Lynx and that I can vault my way into the left seat and get some captain time.

I know it's hard to understand, but Lynx dying is like a family member dying. It was the first flying job I've worked where I felt truly happy doing what I was doing and saw myself doing it the rest of my life.

Sorry, I'm just very mopey this afternoon.
