If you saw Bobby Orr at the Garden would you address him as Bobby or Mr. Orr? :p It was Mr. Orr for me.

A few years ago I ran into the former President Bush (the elder) at a Sea Dogs game. That was Mr. President.

Assuming you were serious, I'd call him Governor Dukakis.
Mr. Orr is probably more deserving of that level of respect that Governor Dukakis. But I am biased. He drove my mother up the wall one day when she was hiking in the White Mountains. He was on the trail just above or behind her and he would not. stop. talking.

Even so, you should address him as Governor Dukakis. You can never go wrong being too formal.

My mother finished Lego Indiana Jones last week... I just got a performance bonus at work... guess who is getting a new Lego game? :)

Its better than getting her that walker she keeps complaining about :p *ducks*

I kid :p

Good Evening, Lodge.

After an evening of Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage, I am feeling pretty good. It also helps having post work drinks. I think my husband is prepping me to lose my Rush virginity tomorrow night at Summerfest in Milwaukee.

at a BU hockey golf outing, Bobby was cooking hot dogs and burgers for everyone at the turn. i just said, "hi there, cheeseburger please".

i used to work at one boston place when kraft had his wife's company offices there. i saw him in the elevators a few times and always said, "hi mr kraft".

i worked at 28 state st when bill weld's law office job had him there. passing him on the stairs i always said, "governor" and nodded my head.

That week went by too fast. The good part is I wasn't in Wisconsin very long.

My uncle (a judge in Cook County, IL) had some great stories about work.

Kick arse. I hope you enjoy it immensely. I saw the set list and it's extremely pleasing and new fan and old fan friendly. They rule.

Did he tell you about the one with Jake and Elwood? That one is hilarious.

Howdy Slackers

A lovely weekend of weather is upon us. A fine way to celebrate the 4th of July

Think I'm headed here http://www.dennettswharf.net/ for a few drinks and some food tomorrow

Not much going on here today, is there? :)

Walked down to the gas station a couple blocks away. That was a mistake. Holy crap is it humid out. When you walk outside it's like hitting a solid wall of thick, hot air.

Just saw this on someone's FB and almost puked (no offense 'diva)
?MSU girls are pretty,
Michigan girls are smart,
But it takes a Northern girl
To win a fellas heart.
Western girls are dirty,
Eastern girls are hoes,
But when you want a hot and smart girl,
Marquette is where to go.
Any man who reads this,
Truly has to know,
That if you have a Northern girl
Dont ever let her go?
